      Why even Serena in your comments then? Serena was very classy during the ceremony, yet you and others fail to mention that . There is a definite bias against Serena that most fail to focus on. Yet she continues to win. It's called a passing of the torch. I doubt that Naomi will have the career that Serena has had, I truly hope she does but I doubt it. Finally, that Black Girl Magic is real!!!

    • @chicaarana1164
      @chicaarana1164 5 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      Exactly, because she already stated in other interviews that she had her back turned when the drama was happening. She mentioned as well that during a game, she was taught to keep her head focused on nothing else but the game. I think when it comes to the drama, Serena should be answering those questions.

      Sun Flower - I don't think she is poor, cause she made more than 7 M $ up to now. I think she is very wise not to participate in dramas and not adding fuel to the flames. She's a very sweet, peaceful and balanced person for my feel, and that is a great richness.

I also dont agree with African Americans claiming biracial women/people who are mixed with black as just black. Black has a certain look and so does Japanese and Asian. Stop trying to categorize people by race alone shes mixed and shes a damn good tennis player lets just leave it at that.

    Naomi's father is a well educated Haitian man. She was born in Japan and she was only 3 when her father brought to US. From 3 to 10 she was raised by her father's parents at Long Island NY. That's the reason why she is so respectful and gorgeous. She represents the real Haitian value. Now, Because of her, Japan has another understanding of biracial people.Very talented, graceful, beautiful, and classy, She opens widely the Japanese door for all biracial Japanese. She is an heroine like the great Haitians who built the first black independent Republic in the world. Yes, we Haitians that's what we really are.

    Charming, gracious and funny Naomi. "I always wanted to hug Serena" encapsulates her own ideals; thus,
    "Honestly, it felt better coming from Serena" would be hard to better as a genuine, heartfelt tribute and I enjoyed Steve cracking up at that.
    If Naomi goes on to be a great champion herself, Serena's aura will be put to rest because the debt of gratitude would have been paid although the love would endure.
