Three virtuosi of the highest order. This piece presents wicked technical challenges for all three instruments but you'd never know it from this charming and witty performance. Thanks so much to the festival for posting this.
thanks
Oh quelle découverte ! Musique incroyable pleine d'énergie et de beauté ❤
Just by listening to this one piece, I love this composer! will definitely check out his other compositions.
I know!!!
I have also recently taken his music more seriously, and I am quite surprised that he might fall into obscurity.
Pétillant et chaleureux. Merci Jean Français !
This is the coolest trio I've ever heard
I frankly admit that it must be hard to stay in tune as well as you do. So many centers of tonality change throughout. Congratulations on bringing this lively piece to life. Best.
Absolutely joyful music - just makes me smile! Such a shame it's not better known.
What a great piece and beautifully played!!!
Gem of a piece beautifully played. New to me.
Perky and playful with a beautifully pensive and serene slow movement. Bravo!
정말 좋은 연주입니다. Thanks for good music
Amazing! Congratulations!!!
I LOVE THIS VERSION! I''m playing right now this trio with my friends and we love so much, thank you! Un beso
Quelle sublime pièce! Merci pour cette interprétation bien sentie.
Con sólo ver las caras de satisfacción y felicidad lo dice todo. ¡Sensacionales!. Gracias por compartir. 🙏🌻🌸🌈🌞🎻🎼🎹🎶🎵
I am mesmerized by this incomparable performance
Magnifique !
He was 21 when he composed this...
BRAVO!
It's unearthly shimmers with elfin chuckles
Brilliant performance?

Made me immediately think of Ravel.
He met Ravel at 11 and studied composition with Nadia Boulanger
@@Alix777. Thanks, I did not know that. I heard a radio programme the other day about Lily Boulanger, who was even more amazing than her sister. Have you ever heard the Rebecca Clarke viola sonata? She was contemporary of Ravel and had much the same talent, but less well known.
@@nickyork8901 No, unfortunately, although I'm french, I'm not really into french music, at least when we are talking about Ravel and Debussy...but I love "D'un soir triste" and the incredible songs cycle "Clairières dans le ciel" by Lili Boulanger and other works, she was so talented...I will check Rebecca Clark viola sonata tho, also I like this instrument a lot.
@@Alix777. You may like her, she was English and had a very distinctive style of her own.
A bit fast. Or I've just heard a lot of slower versions!
If you've heard any other versions at all, you're lucky! Thanks to all for giving me the opportunity. Bravo.
Really, this is so slow to my ear! Check the Heifetz / Primrose recording.
@@alexandergrimes6959 It is some six minutes slower than the Heifetz/Primrose/Piatogorsky version
@@jormaple OMG How DARE these guys play it differently from other people!
The tempo is fine. Neither too fast nor too slow, and very well played.
That's not "melody"
It is, actually
