Love the story, the scenery is breathaking, and I love the fact that you do not hide your natural accents.I nope to see more of your films in the future.

Nick. Haven't started exploring yet, but in reply, you have to start somewhere! It will be interesting (and enjoyable in its own way) to follow how you have developed over time. In this, I particlarly liked how you managed to get a genuine Star Trek feel while getting around the problems of trying for sets that are affordable yet effective - always a challenge.

A very nice film, as always. I just love Starship Intrepid because you're paying so much attention to detail and I like the stories which are always... human. I would have liked to see all Starfleet personnel wear the FC uniform, though. The TNG uniform looks displaced. However, thank you very much for your work and passion. Just nitpicking. ;-) I love Starship Intrepid especially because it's post-TNG and it's so true to Star Trek that it could be canon (let's forget about that little crossover with Hidden Frontier a few years ago). ;-) Both is quite rare these days. With all the TOS films around, it's good to see more of my favourite era and people sharing my love for the (post) TNG style. Starship Intrepid has always been an inspiration for me and as you might have seen, I've tried my very first steps of filming. However, I'm very far from a fanfilm myself and I'm not even planning to make one but maybe I'll get a nice trailer done for my ship in the future. I'll keep on working on it. Just now, making a crossover reference between the USS Atlas and the Intrepid comes to my mind...
USS Atlas oh no worries, we all have different tastes, there will always be artistic choices that don’t work for us. It’s fine to talk about them. :) I’ll have to check out what you’re working on, sounds interesting. Have fun with it and good luck. :)

Yeah, the actor, who isn’t a fan, didn’t realise she needed black boots because we didn’t think to mention such an “obvious” thing to her. I guess it’s only obvious if you’re a fan. :)

Nice one people. Must have been a b***h to get the voices recorded considering how windy it was there. I watch a lot of these fan made vids as I know how much work and time goes into them. One thing I see a lot is that many times color filters are not used enough, what I mean is its suppose to be a different planet but it looks very familiar. I know we cannot go to another planet but you could use in editing, filters and go over the top with them. I use Looks by RedGiant to start with.I send you some pics of parts of your video with filters, not sure if I got your email correct. This is only a fellow film guy just trying to help each other, nothing more.
@@jv-lk7bc not really. They’re not legally binding though, and the studio doesn’t seem to have any desire to enforce them unless someone is really pushing the limits. Basically, my impression is that the guidelines are there as more of a safe space for those who want to play it safe. But most have us have respected the studio’s patience and tolerance, so we tread lightly anyway. Bottom line, they are quite a few productions that don’t adhere exactly to the guidelines, and the studio is choosing not to ask them to desist. I take that as a good sign.

Deplorable_Bitter_Clinger we’ve been using both costumes since our first film, that’s not likely to change. Also, having Hunter in the brighter costume is indicative of his optimism here, as opposed the other members of the AwayTeam. :) As for the Converse, yeah we just screwed that up. I watched all your videos probably multiple times and have enjoyed them. It's shame you can't do "long form" anymore, the story involving the Surai and the D'Brune ruins had a lot of promise.

Nobody *has* to follow the guidelines, they're guidelines not legal requirements, but we do our best to adhere to the spirit of them, yes. :)
