I found one at the thrift store. Pretty cool
I love that detail to the Xv racers they have an HW branded capacitor 😅
Thanks for your video, I found a similar capacitor in a nearby electronics store,,, ta
Which capacitor (size) should be used to replace or tune it?
Super cool
Also same me I have 3 cars from X-V Racers but they are weak not speed because no longer maybe can replace more clean or some add oil will be faster than old and best present last year in 2016 Speed Chargers are very soft too very fast 400Mbp long 4mins than
It depends on the car , there are a few versions of them , the early ones were direct drive with a 1.5v battery , the ones I show run on 4.5v . The cell is unlabeled but I think it'sa 5v supercapacitor. I'm no expert on the topic tho .
@@turboprint3d I think one another speed chargers this car had battery very small maybe 5v are very speed how many time 2-4mins are good so much. I did before teardown out looking very soft too
Hi, do you know what is the original capacitor size?
I have no idea , if I was guessing I would say a max of 2-4f at 5.5v . I have no reliable way of testing it currently .
what is that horrile noise in the video
sorry ender 3 is kinda a noisy b!tc#, i don't record with it going anymore.
Mattel screwed this up.....They should have put in a nic-cad battery that holds longer charging time......Just like the 1970 Sizzlers...
Maybe but a capacitor can dump way more power , likely allowing the cars to do loops on a short track . The sisters seem to be a little slower but last way longer , however not having the same torque .
@@turboprint3d SIZZLERS cars of the 70's had great POWER
@@leeshepherd5669 my experience is that they wouldn't do loops or accelerate very quickly compared to the newer models . Mind u the original cell might have been pretty degraded by then . If I was guessing other than power it was a length of charge , the capacitors charge in seconds
