are the batteries in these bad if I bought a new boxed one from back then? I had one when I was 10, but I'd love to buy one again, but I'd assume the batteries are no good. I see them on ebay and I'm tempted
You can never be sure, but I've bought several of these and they all still work well. Even the used ones still work, but if you buy used and the seller isn't able to confirm it works, check the overall condotion for a clue on how it was played with and stored. They were discontinued a few years ago, but you can still find them on eBay in New condition for a very inexpensive price.
