Christina had some seriously great questions for the riders, I think this may have been the best bike check video I've seen just because of that.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hundy P!
I conquer. Her question were on point and very well informed and she carried the conversation beautifully. Her probing was awesome.. Enjoyed it and learned a bit.
fully agree
Good to hear Dan had some good insights on the brake lever setup. Most people just say they prefer them flat but it was good to hear an actual reason.
After trying super flat, I found that it made me hang off the back of the bike too much instead of stay over the front wheel, especially in corners. Rolled them forward a bit and stopped washing out my front as much. Just to say there is a balance somewhere for everyone
When you are going downhill they are down anyway. You are using your brakes on the steep parts too.
Christina Chappetta is a really good presenter. But seriously where is the grim donut
Checkin´ pb out every day for grim donut... :D
Saw it last week at the bc bike show
And no the headset hasn’t snapped yet
Hundy-p

2:00 Seths Grips lol!
Edit: 4:31 and 7:33 Finally Someone That Has a Polygon Bike Too!
Love Christina's knowledge - which leads to pertinent questions - and rapport with the riders. No BS there. Straight up honest. Straight up rider.
Christina is giving me some Bret Tippie vibes! Super natural on camera and a great interviewer. Good hire Pinkbike!
Great video, Christina! Nice variety of questions, good energy -- knocked it out of the park
Interesting video, and Christina Chapetta did a great job keeping it light and fun!
Great job Christina!
Nice video Christina. I like the goggles strapped to the bike for the climb idea. And oh yeah, we know you like clips!
Great video, loved it, nice one Christina!
Nice to see someone from ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Even better to see a dub
When I was a teenager, I saw a guy flat out on a Suzuki RM125 wearing an open face helmet. He hit a newly dug pipeline trench and slid along the railway ballast fire road on his face. Yes, I recommend a full face helmet where you can.
Nice rigs and Christina did a great job!!
Rev Grips. Don't tell Seth's Bike Hacks/Berm Peak Express that people are using these for racing!
I love seeing shimano out here on all these bikes. Good to see people embracing the superior shifting quality and indestructability instead of the flashy fancy sram eagle X01 AXS oil slick bs
Nailed it Christina. Nice work! 🍻
Awesome ! Christina is fantastic !
Love the Roto hecklers! 1, 2, 3...!
0:38 imagine trying to whellie that thing
Great insights from Dan!
1:47 Yo Seth, check this out.
Haha just watched the rev grips video
lol
😂😂😂 Watched this and the Seth Rev Grip vid back to back
@@prancisfena hahaha
Christina is amazing, please more of her
"hundy p"
2020 lingo right there
Alex Chamberlin fo sho
Came down here to post this comment.
What is - "hundy p" ?
Heard and used this phrase sinse high-school here in Ontairo. >.>
100% is cool
Hundy P tho... you do you 🤣
Seth's bike hacks did a grip review just yesterday haha
Daniel Zhou it was his second channel
saw it
No it was berm peak express
wolfs tooth fat grips, dunno another way to go.
Great video, but what we are all wating for is the video of your bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This woman is Pinbike's biggest hit, seriously. Brings so much character and passion for the sport to the table 🤙Great vid
Please more Enduro XC race coverage!
The girl with the 2nd bike and the guy with the Specialized bike are my favorites.
SUPER!
4:39 Is... Is that just a straight up standard fresh from the local hardware store bolt holding the shock on? Well... At least he threw a couple washers on there as well.
That's all you need
Sick Mick for the win \m/
Rourkes cycles. Stoke on Trent. Saw one I there this week. It was mint.
what a clean place
Make sure you tell us what the bikes are next time idk what the first bike was and was hoping to find out.
I saw the people with the tandem bike at oceanas Dh signal hill dunedin
Mick Hannah rockin that geo shit from '06 holla at a peemp ol' boy.
5:51 aaaAAAAHHHhh
I literally read that when he was saying that haha. What are the odds
Pro's ride clips!
Anyone notice how short Mick Hannah's cranks are? 155's?
What was the counting at the end? How much time was lost?
1:50 those are the grips Seth couldn't figure out xD
Yeah! 😂
For me i love ur channel n u too .. specially .. wink .., great work keep this .. ol long
The people with the tandem bike probably have a joint facebook also. Lol
Yup Dan Wolfe
What happened to the future geometry bike y'all made
Mighty Droid betting the head tube broke with how slack it was
@@mountainwindow7416 yeah lmao then they had to redesign and make another
@@mountainwindow7416 They had it at the BC bike show and it haddn't snapped yet
The Mighty Grim Doughnut?
The uci banned it for being too good
Christina is a breath of fresh air....love it! I want a Sight with Blenki's paint job, don't think that's stock!
Vegas and the Redwoods. Best MTBing in NZ (and I can see Makara from my house).
Is Mic Hannahs rear tire on backwards?
just for those who weren't wondering, dan wolfe has Trickstuff maxima brakes. they retail for $1100 dollars. Kind of unreal but they gotta be the best out there
Im currently looking into getting Braking INCAS brakes, not very much info on them, but they come from a reputable manufacturer and dont cost as much as Trickstuff brakes.
That paint effect is done with cling film or as we call it glad wrap. A car painter showed me it back in the 90s
How about it?! Seeing that kind of paint on a show car now looks very outdated, on a car at least!
yo, where'd you get that shimano 6 panel hat??
epic
why enduro riders go with extra tubes?
are they not using tubeless?
*What´s your conditioner?*
This isn't Grim Donut
Is there any pro enduro athlete using 27.5? Seem like all of them on 29er now.
3:20 cookie time! Oops busted!
damn that devinci is sweet
are devenis considered good bikes? I just got mine cause it was canadian..
any bike 27.5?
She got guns.
Was that Nessie rearing it's head in the water???
does anyone know what sr suntour suspention fork the guy in 7:50 is using
just get a rockshox boxxer or fox 40
good to see indonesian brand polygon bike
Nice work Christina, thanks for the video. My only complaint was some lady is rocking shimano XTR four piston brakes. Maybe overkill? Just maybe?
woah! SR Suntours on a polygon eh? really? Can someone tell me more? 8:39 ..
I live in Wellington and am going up to crankworx next year, watch out for me later hahaha
Polygon 😍
Wish one of these bikes are mine...
:”)
I hope they didn’t ride on that sand I went to that lake (the green lake) and rode around on that beach the first day I got my bike that stuff gets into EVERYTHING and I mean everything lol it took so long to get it out of everything
Yes we have polygon
Closed face or open faced helmet? Now that's a work meeting I'd actually like to be a part of.
"Hundy P" was large cringe
The stanchions on the Spesh behind Mik Hannah must be scratched up. Looks like it's leaning on concrete or wood right on the stanchions.. 🙁
Francis Peña wood doesn’t really scratch stanchions
@@jackshuttleworth6570 Err... I guess they won't gouge stanchions but kinda difficult to say they won't scratch em.
Those are the same grips as Seth
2:58 The plastic wrap paint scheme
Rae Morrison's bike looked huge for her. great looking new enduro. Why the sight instead of the range? Christina, all those riders looked super tall compared to you. what's up with that? you a shorty like me or somethng?? ha ha.
where’s the grim donut?
Polygon indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
So tell me, how do you like it? fast or slow... stiff and hard??..... Yeah I like it a bit stiff in the front and a bit softer in the rear. hahahahaha :) :) :)
"hundie-p"... lol right.
Ahhh nz 😌
4:39 zabrakło na kątówkę żeby te spawy trochę oszlifować?? Dramat
Nice to see polygon out there.
Polygon is very rare too see
Hundy p
I was excited to see some enduro bike chicks, then realized I read the title wrong 😐
Disappointing they rarely mentioned what the bike make/model was.
just look at the frame
"Coil shock helps with traction" - aka, the bikes stock suspension setup sucks
Ye man airs more adjustable and coil is supple but youre stuck with the tuning of the coil unless you swap parts out
When you have all the options at your disposal why not use them to your advantage. The air vs coil debate has been had a million times over, different applications for different scenarios plain and simple.
@@CalgaryDynastar strong, light, cheap. Pick 2
Shocks costing cew hundred bucks a piece, not everyone can try em all bro
Raj Gill no I get that, but as a factory rider with everything at your disposal, you have the advantage of playing around with all that.
@@rajgill7576 you dont have to try them all.
I run an air shock and have a coil as a spare. It's not a huge financial undertaking to own two shock.
It's always nice to have a spare. Nice to put the coil on for park days
Sick $8k-$10k MTB
Seth grips
I love bike but i dont have a bike😿
'pretty unique' - something either is unique or it isn't. There isn't a scale of unique. You may mean 'pretty unusual'
Christina is cool as f*ck 😎
Say “super” and “sick” more it’ll make it much more mountain bike applicable 🙄
e13 rims are reliable.. that made me laugh
i've had 13 little cracks in mine on my yt capra lmao
The home of Zerode yet nothing featured. Booo
i read: Bike chicks....
hundy p
just so everyone knows those revvgrips cost £110
Ikr it’s so expensive for grips
