I travelled with the same driver a couple of years ago and he was almost scammed by someone.
A women was calling him and had told she would be coming to stinagar from london. She called him while he was driving and told him that she was caught by custom officials and they wanted 2.5 lakh. She was asking him to pay it and said that she would return onve she reaches srinagar. But the driver didnt understand and asked me if i could talk to her on his phone and translate what she was saying. I instantly understood it was a scam and told him not to take her phone or give her any money as it was a scam. We reached jammu soon after and i hope he didnt pay her anything
