Nice review! Are the non-removable spikes on the Nike Dragonfly 2 Elite 1/8 inch spikes, or 1/4 spikes? I race indoor for Winter Track at a venue that only allows 1/8 inch spikes.
@@connormccafferty4249 I’m really sorry with my previous statement. They are definitely 1/4 inch. The fact they the venue only allows 1/8 spikes is ridiculous as the standard is 1/4. I would also take a look at the adidas distance spikes. Personally I like their geometry over the Nike spikes. Otherwise get the dragonfly 2 and 1/8 inch spikes.
I currently don’t own a Victory 2 but I do own the first victory and they are very similar. The main difference is the midsoles and outsoles. The Victory’s are far more aggressive and like when you get up on your toes. The Dragonflys are a more traditional spike that is cushioned for energy return. If you want something to snappy get the Victory if you don’t want that get the Dragonfly. For your events both work just as well. Also possibly look into the Oncloud Citra, it felt quite good when u tried it out.
No!!!! Do not use spikes on asphalt. They are only built for track and xc ones are built for dirt. You will ruin the shoe if you don’t use it for it’s intended purpose.
I run a 5:30 and I am not saying it is slow I am just saying it is not 3 minutes or even 4:30 for that matter. A 4:30 is not even competitive in high school
I don’t know what kind of high school sports you are doing. 4:30 is pretty good but I digress. The truth is that it is all personal preference if you like the stiffer shoe or not. Personally I do like stiffer spikes, although I do have friends that say the opposite.
If you were in the events 400,800 meter and 1600 meter and 3200 meter would you get the dragon fly 2 ( which one ) or the Nike victory 2?
Nice new background music!!! Also great video…

They look on the shorter end. I would say they are 1/8 inches.
@@pugmaster9681 thank you, I’m thinking about getting some

I’m debating whether to buy dragonfly 1, 2 or elite. I feel like the originals might be the best tbh
Just go with the 2, you will get the most out of that one.
@@pugmaster9681i tried on the 2 and they seem like a downgrade from the one tbh, less aggressive
Yo pls reply ASAP but should I but the elite or the regular for a 5k run
Buy
you will get more out of the regular dragonfly 2
@@yo-yo0342 I agree with Pug, go with the regular dragonfly 2, true to size
How fast are you?
@@yo-yo0342 super fast
Do the non removeable titanium spikes hold up on partially asphault xc courses?

Did bro say a 5:30 mile is fast enough to justify elite shoes over super spikes???
