And I also remember playing what of my favorites from Nintendo 64 series perfect dark a gun fight for expansion packs as a kid when I was 3 in July 16 birthday! And I still love that game! lol

I remember having a n64 as a kid. I was probably 10 or so and I always just thought my DK64 didn’t work 😂 I literally just bought a n64 and figured out I just never had the expansion pak 🤦♂️

Can u show the difference in the way the jumper pack and expansion pack looks like. Like the actual packs not gameplay. I dont wanna get screwed over by ordering the wrong thing

So I’m having the issue where there is no save files only options are delete and cancel. I have an original expansion pack but I don’t have a jumper/controller pack. Is this the cheap remake or me just not having a bumper jumper controller pack?
The Expansion Pak will provide extra RAM to the system for better resolutions, textures etc whereas the Controller Pak that inserts into an N64 Controller is for game saves.
Perfect Dark, however, saves to the cartridge itself. In the game menu at the computer when you see the copy and delete option this will allow you to copy a save to an inserted Controller Pak and transfer it to a friend's cartridge, keep a backup etc. Hope this helps!

For Perfect Dark specifically you should be able to save to the game itself without a Controller Pak, if that's what you're asking specifically
@@SvennyMcG The problem is I’m running a perfect dark Amazon remake on an original system with an original expansion pack and I don’t have the option to create a new save file I haven’t seen anybody else making videos about how to solve this issue just a little talk on forms
Ah I see! Well, if you do grab a Controller Pak it may or may not fix the issue but at least you'll have one for other games to save with, so it may not be a total loss
LOL I don't need an expansion pack to play on my handheld and I can boost it up 10x resolution talk about looking crispy you've never seen Perfect Dark until you emulated and boost the resolution it almost looks like Wii or GameCube game

Finaly ! I played perfect dark on n64 in the past only the challenges & a awesome (realy awesome) multiplayer but i played perfect dark on xbox gamepass 15 years later & then you have a full Story on it

Yes, thankfully it's more accessible on Rare Replay these days!

@@SvennyMcG does the expansion pack fits for every game? Or had every game his own expansion packs ? If not you got all n64 "dlcs" on 1 pack HOLY SHIT
The Expansion Pak is added RAM, so information is on each game cartridge; for example, the single-player campaign for Perfect Dark is on the game cart but it's only accessible when it detects the extra RAM to run it.
I have one and it says it don't. Any suggestions?
The Expansion Pak is in but the campaign isn't showing? I'd try to clean the pins on the game and eject the Expansion Pak and clean those contacts too
