What should a good release sound like?
A good release should sound like the note almost continuing into silence instead of falling off a high shelf onto the floor, or vice versa.
Some people find it helpful to end releases with a breath, which is generally a good idea as well, and in higher registers, it’s good practice to work on a relaxed embrochure to minimize pressure put on the lips, which in turn can help your releases in that register sound more organic
Might I add, a good release realizes the proper value of the written note as well
Exquisite sound. No strain at at all, relaxed, confident. The phrases are so nicely, measured, balanced. Excellent performance.

Hey Daniel, excellent playing! I really like your releases and your finesse in the 16th sections. My only comment is more dynamic contrast, especially with those held note or phrases going up or down. Adding that will help bring the music more to life. Other than that nicely done!

A beautiful performance. I have to ask why are you starting the trills on the upper note? I was taught that would be applicable to baroque period but not necessarily classical period, where they would begin on the lower note.

It IS an Eb... probably Schilke.
