    I love his positivity. I can't count the number of times I've seen tattoo artists scoffing at something a person holds dear to them. It doesn't sit well with me. When I see an artist like him who is there for the client, and there for that persons unique creativity, symbolism, and down to make it a memory/keepsake, it just grabs my heartstrings. Gets me right here💖.

      If you have Instagram look up @astrid.elizabethe she’s an up coming artist who is gaining traction fast. He came at her for making a comment of “bang bang tattoo studios” prices, if you’re unaware their shop minimum is $500, understandably it’s great quality work but at times he can be an asshole. This is coming from someone who once admired him as an artist as well as a person

      @patoalatorre805 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      What’s up bro? Yeah, I’m going to go check that comment out. I got tattooed at BangBang myself. Definitely very expensive. In my eyes tattoos can’t be overpriced, it’s an art at the end of the day and the artist can price his/her work at whatever cost they want since there’s no competition. 100% unique, I personally wouldn’t pay to get tatted by him bc His style isn’t for me. Is there another reason you think he’s not humble other than the price?

      Nurf I'm guessing you don't have many tattoos, or you're getting your information from someone else that doesn't know what they're talking about. It doesn't matter how good of an artist you are, over time the ink will shift under the skin and fade, and in the case of a very small tattoo, that can cause the tattoo to become unrecognizable in a matter of a couple years. If you take proper care of the tattoo it can look better for longer, but not even the biggest and boldest tattoos will look new forever.

      JP3 I have five smilies/
      frownies. Got all of them the same two year period about four or five years ago now. I’d reckon the artist who did most of them is a better single needle artist than Bang Bang. Only one still exists. That one is the only one that is 3.5x2 inches. That one is also on the wrist almost on my hand and should have worn faster than my others for that reason alone. You can’t say what is “common sense” about something when you know absolutely fuck all about that thing.

      Please don't use one of those cheap kits off eBay they're not good quality! People who use those kits are known as scratchers and are looked down upon by the industry. Not trying to sound like a dick but if you want an apprenticeship it's better if you work on your portfolio and your drawing skills first, learning how to tattoo will come much further down along the line of an apprenticeship :)

    Short version of this video: Fine line and micro tattoos will not age very well, and most likely will fade much faster than a traditional tattoo. Just as a caution, micro tattoos have really became popular 3-4 years ago to now so nobody quite knows how these micro tattoos age. But truthfully, the lines will double in size, or blow out under the skin. If you want one go for it, but it might age pretty quickly and won’t look the greatest.

    I‘ve seen so many tattoo artists that are very bitter and critique everything.
    Like bruh we‘re humans we make mistakes and we need time to learn and evolve.
    I mean it’s good to see the mistakes but instead of being an ass about it just try to help or something 💁🏽‍♂️
    He seems like, if he sees someone making a mistake in a tattoo he‘d be happy to help and explain how to make it better.
    Others would just be like, thats trash stop tattooing.
    Non of that has happened to me i just took this out of youtube videos i saw
