      You gotta understand an apprenticeship is tough and some people pay thousands of dollars and years of their life learning. I didn’t pay for my apprenticeship but I was also taught a very traditional way, and for someone who did pay thousands of dollars it’s very disrespectful to watch over someone if you weren’t invited. The reason for that is because you never know who is gonna try to bum off the technique you spent years to master or bum of your special style. Put it this way let’s say you figured out how to peel an apple and it’s way more efficient and preserved more of the apple and you sold the very well peeled apples and some guy just walks to the back of your shop to watch you peel those apples you’d think he’s trying to learn how you peeled your apples and he does now it’s biting into your business.

      As someone with finger tattoos. They’re incredibly painful, because it basically tattooing your bones. Not to mention your hands are constantly being used, constantly shedding more than any other part of your body. It will look good for a couple months but it won’t stick by the 6-8th month. You’ll have to get them redone on the regular. It really isn’t worth the money and pain

      I do not agree. It's exactly how white people always excuse racism. Deflecting, saying "sorry, you feel bad" instead of actually assuming responsibility for it. Great if he doesn't discriminate in his shop, but to pretend there isn't a problem in his field especially, is really just gaslighting. No matter if he meant it as such or not.

    • @Abby-dh4qx
      @Abby-dh4qx 5 ปีที่แล้ว +44

      it’s really important to quadruple check the stencil (no idea abt freehand) before your artist tattoos you. if the stencil looks wonky your tattoo will most likely be wonky. regarding circles, if it’s already inked on you really can’t do anything about it except rework it, black it out, laser, or just take the L. stray lines may be easier to fix bc you can always add other elements, but then again an experienced, quality artist won’t have that happen a lot if at all

      actually it depends on the state you get the tattoo, states where its heavily regulated you don't have to wait the 12months to donate
      And according to the red cross Wait 12 months after a tattoo if the tattoo was applied in a state that does not regulate tattoo facilities. Currently, the only states that DO NOT regulate tattoo facilities are: District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wyoming.
      If you get it in a state that regulates tattoos in a lisc facility with sterilized needs and one time use ink cartridges you don't have to wait if you get a tattoo!
