On peut vraiment dire que Debussy, à la veille de disparaitre, a tout donné dans cette œuvre sans concession. La musique au plus haut, servie par des interprètes inspirés. Un grand moment musical, merci.

As in their Britten recital, I feel I am hearing Debussy's genius in this sonata for the first time. To single out just one aspect of a stupendous performance, the pizzicato passages are projected with a resonance that only guitarists achieve. Thank you both.

Far and away my favorite Debussy piece. That rising scale in the Finale is worth the world. This is a play-it-at-my-funeral contender.
