Wow... this is totally emersive! I will enjoy the experience fully tonight in complete darkness.... I'm sure the images will come alive! How long did it take for you to mix this? I like the concept of the audio being a walk through experience. I made a mix in 2011 using my favorite elements of the mansion and various artists thrown in there.... I didn't intend for it to be a Haunted Mansion ride through, but without the Grim Grinning Ghosts it seemed to lack an ending, especially without narration. The problem with my mix was that I wanted to have all the ghosts singing with the track fading in and out of the tracks to have that illusion of depth, but I couldn't synch it right and some of the voices were on a delay.... of course, technology has advanced in 10 years and more isolated tracks of the Mansion have surfaced... I just cringe at the task of trying to fix it though. I posted it on TH-cam with a collage, but it never got any play. I plan on posting it on Facebook later, but I don't want it to clash with this video. This is superior in regards to my effort. Mine took me a little over a year and I mixed it all out of order!
Thank you! I originally did a full length soundtrack back in 2017 but since alot of the mansion’s are pretty rare to find in high quality I recorded a-lot of filler effects, some using my own voice, the problem was it took up alot of storage and since I wasn’t content with posting it I deleted it, it wasn’t till last year when i found all the current tracks in high quality, originally it was going to be a track as realistic as going on the ride with the exact timing but that would’ve been a waste of all these sounds since you move pretty fast through all the scenes, so i made it as if you were riding the haunted mansion but they had the doombuggies going extremely slow, another thing is i got rid of the interactive queue in place of more subtle and mysterious scene, a garden courtyard similar to the one at Disneyland, id imagine there would be a water fountain, a few roman style garden statues and several red rose bushes, since Mrs Constance Hatchaway was so fond of roses, I also added some forgotten spooks such as the screams that the pop up ghosts in the graveyard used to have in the 70s. I also added the deleted ghost host lines since they have more story telling.
It is an awesome mix! Listening to it in the dark I appreciate the layered sounds and nods to the ride (like the ghost host dialog bleeding through the other doombuggies as you load the ride!).... I agree, the ride moves way too fast to enjoy all the layers!
I love it! For someone that loves HM but lives outside the US I really appreciate your time and effort to put this together. Great job! Question: Did you intentionally skipped the whispering gargoyles in the stretching room? Or are they not there anymore? I thought it was such a nice detail last time I was there on October, 2013.
I love " Yankee doodle" transitions to scary wind and howling

the audio seems weird
How so?
@@foolishmortalstudios841 some of the echoing
