Generally speaking yanmar excavators are very reliable piece of equipment. Camarata has exactly the same one b50 5 tonnes. And he swears by them and he reckons they don't need any parts because they never break down. But all depends on the previous owners and how they used and serviced the machine.the drawback is a bit hard to find parts for the machine that is more than 30 years old.it is all a grey market for spare parts.i notice a strange noise during hydraulic use .that might be an indication of hydraulic pump going out soon..and they not cheap to rebuild or replace second hand..but again you only get what you paid for and you should be ready to fix and bring the machine to its former glory.keep up the good work and good luck.

What is that square button for by the seat?
That orange over on the left control should be your safety. It should move up and down to lock and unlock.
Yes you are correct I took it apart lubed it up and it is the safety thank you and thanks for watching
