Glad you found some evidence of the old line. Nice place to go for a walk too.

Very informative and interesting videos about the military railways. Your graphics are great and really help with visualizing the operation. A couple of years ago, I caught a train from Rowlands Castle to Waterloo and it stopped at Liss. What a silly name I thought, so I checked it out on google maps and saw the proximity to Longmoor Camp. Did some research and ended up finding all sorts of information the military lines, so your video was a great refresher and a lot easier to understand.

Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you found it interesting. Ideally I would have liked to have taken more time to do this video, but Covid put paid to that, so I had to go with what I had.

@@davekirwinMany thanks for showing the L M R . I did a Centurion Tank and Armoured Vehicle Course in 1961 . Later during R.E.M.E. Service l saw the Dame Vera Lynn locomotive shunting at Bordon . A shame when it all closed down . Best Wishes to you .

Hollywood loop? I'm sure it was called Hollywater Loop, being as it went through Hollywater.

Great little film, I grew up in Liss, and have fond memories of the line, and of David Shepherd's all too brief time at Liss. One point, it was the Hollywater Loop, not "Hollywood"!

Good description but, disappointingly, no mention of the filming of "The Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery" in the mid 1960s.
