Thank you! I was just thinking about making a video on that 🙂I hope to post that soon. I have 2 easy methods I use. (they are not the "correct way") but it works great for me. 1st- If I cook eggs and immediately, while pan is still hot, take to the sink and with hot water, wash gently with a regular handle brush (no soap). Egg comes off perfect. 2nd way- If I cook eggs and leave pan on stove while I eat, and pan cools off. I put a little water in pan to coat the bottom, turn stove on to heat up pan and water, then take over to the sink while hot and wash the same as above. After I wash all of my pans, I put back on the stove for 30 seconds on high to evaporate any water (prevent rust) then I let cool and hang up! Thats it. I don't season my pans after. I season them every time while pan is hot right before I put food in. I've been doing this method for about 7-8 years with no issues to my pans. I hope that made sense! ❤ @michellealms3238
*Wonderful! You're welcome. Let me know if you notice a taste difference in your eggs! I noticed a huge difference. What kind of accent do I sound like I have? Haha.* @tugboat8475
Thank you so much! I've had lots of practice making eggs almost every morning :) I don't season it after I clean it, because I don't like dust and stuff sticking to it while I'm not using it. I've had no problems that way.
Awesome, good grief where did you find you egg turner. I have been looking for one that size and style for days now. Sometimes more choices are not best. 😅
If there are any flea markets near you, be sure to check them out. I picked up 4 different ones at a local flea market and 3 of them were made here in the US and all in very good condition. The nice lady only wanted a dollar apiece for them!! I gave her $2 apiece. She was happy, I was happier 😊
Great news for me 😜 I found one at the local WinCo. I hardly ever go there but once a month. It never occurred to me to look at the grocery store, but it is purrrrfect and was only 5ish dollars. Thanks for the tips! 😻
@@homemakerhowto yes they are, but after I realized what they was, it took me about four more years to acquire the taste back now I love poached eggs. Great video though thank you.
Great vid. Yum. So what did you do to clean your pan afterwards?? I’m just curious on your process everyone does something different🤷♀️. Thanks.

I love the comment “I want mine on the side mama” ❤❤
Cool I been flipping mine over to soon now tomorrow going to try it your way!

Nice! Thanks!!!!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
You don't season it after you clean it. Plus, your butter and eggs don't burn-excellent job!

Well done! Do you prefer elements over a glass top?
Thank you. I do prefer elements for using cast iron. I would damage the glass top the way I move around the pans haha. @proficientpanda
Looks so pretty
Thanks!
*Are you new to using cast iron skillets?.*
Serious!
Nice job..........cooking fried eggs especially easy over on cast iron can be tricky. You accomplished near perfect eggs.
@chevypreps6417
Thank you so much! Once you get the hang of it, it is so easy. I think eggs taste so much better on cast iron as well :)
@@homemakerhowto I will try my eggs on cast iron next time.

Hi! I can't remember where I got my spatula. It was probably a yard sale find!
@@homemakerhowto yep been checking the goodwill myself.🤦😉😛
@@trishjordan8859 I hope you find one! 🙂

Thanks for not cracking your eggs on the side of the skillet
You're welcome, haha!
I cook 2 over easy every morning in cast iron and have for years.
Awesome! Do you cook them the same way I do? or what do you do differently? @adnacraio6590
@origami-mommy Pretty much the same. I scramble or make omelettes in a cast iron pan also. Just use a little more butter.
Great. I made scrambled eggs this morning :) @@adnacraigo6590
Thanks for reporting in, that’s good to know 2 eggs. got it, you win

All kids love runny eggs,🥚 till they get old enough to realize what they are 🐤 🐔🍗
Haha! Over easy runny eggs are so good over homemade bread or hashbrowns! Yum. @eyeonyou1554

@@eyeonyou1554 Yeah, that happened to me as well. I cook them a tiny bit more than I used to now lol.
