- Prothesis Racing Mech Suit Racer is the dream child of Jonathan Tippet. For the past 9 years Jonathan and his team have been constructing this incredible 8500 lbs., 200 horsepower, fully pilot controlled exoskeleton. This machine is not autonomous, meaning it had no gyros, no AI, it's simply an extension of your own movements. Jonathans dream is to eventually form a racing mech league with these machines racing each other through obstacle courses. Think American Gladiators with robots. Every year, Jonathan and his team make the machine faster and more agile so his dream could become a reality sooner than later. For more info visit his website:

Great skills my man… but what is the point of it. Does it pick up things or make human working or living any easier?
It starts with pure fun. Just like any sport: invent an arbitrary physical challenge and then master it. It's an age old human pursuit. From there we learn about the capabilities - and limitations - of the technology while advancing it in the arena of competition. Our long term vision is a world filled with large scale powered mech suits for all applications; search and rescue, fire fighting, sports and recreation, construction, logging...and applications not yet imagined!
I think you and Colin Furze would make a good pair.

My only thought is you may need to reduce the bumper size before full on racing. Otherwise people gonna get impaled.
I wish someone would build the loader Ripley used in "Alien" to beat down the Alien queen. That thing was so cool, even almost 40 plus years later.
