Dear Disney... Will we ever see an interview with the Yeti in Animal Kingdom's Expedition Everest? Oh sorry I forgot... it has been broken for almost decade now.
I wonder how he got broken? I went in 2008 and that was the last I've seen him. Now it's a projector. :(
Harold seems like an alright Yeti not at all like his cousin in florida, that guy is just rude always bending the tracks and trying to attack people, Harold just stands there chillen.

Harold has been updated now and moves his body much more now and his roar is new too but you can still hear the old one. Rode it yesterday and he's much scarier.

Samantha Stanwyck * sighs * I feel ya, unfortunately it's a feeling we have when we're away from many things there and when we come back, a lot of it is changed...it's like, why? I'm not saying don't ever change anything, but if it's working just fine and people like the stuff, why remove it? :(
AishaVonFossen I agree, last time I went to Disneyland that was like 2010 or 2011, through out the years the Matterhorn has been my favorite ride, now from friends I hear the bobsleds they have now aren't really comfy and the ride seems more bumpy and jerkier. Oh well.
Samantha Stanwyck Aww, really? That's a shame. :( And yeah, the Matterhorn is always one of my favorites, too. :) I like how it's lit up at night, too, and the lights on the side of it can change colors and whatnot. ;)
Actually, they changed a bit in the Haunted Mansion, too, another one of my favorite rides. Personally, I miss the original ghost bride, the one with the candle and the beating heart?
Neat stuff! My Yetise is a little rusty, but I could swear that he was either challenging her to a snowball fight or threatening to eat her....but again, a little rusty. :/

The abominable snowman was added during the extensive 1978 refurbishment when the ice caverns were built inside the mountain, so technically...it's not 55 years old

Please Disney, fix the ride, its too bumpy. Why can it be smooth as ice, not like rocks.

Everytime You Pass by Harold I Thought He Looked Like He Was Frozen But I Didn't Know That Harold Can Actually Move I Thought He Was just Standing There Starring at You

Wish I could celebrate the 55th anniversary, but I refuse to go on the Matterhorn since the new seats are so painful.

I swear there was another yeti on the other side when I was on the Skyway. It had horns and looked like a white version of Sully from Monsters Inc.

More accurately...Harold's 34. The yetis weren't added until a refurb in 1978 when all the ice caverns were added (the mountain used to be a big hollow void) and the old one car sleds were linked together into two car trains.

I've heard from a cast member at Disney World that The yeti at the Matterhorn is a boy named Harold and his girlfriend is the Yeti from Everest, but I forget her name.

I know the video is not about this, but what exactly happened to the yeti animatronic in Expedition Everest? How is it broken? Why has it been broken for so long. Why have they failed to fix it till even now?
