Pretty good deal tbo.. if you just literally swap out turbos and get a tune, there's not much of a better set up than that. Considering if you are looking at turbo upgrades it's a given you're already at full bolt on's and have all the necessary supporting mods. Factory clutch, factory fueling, 0 additional modifications required, bolt-on 30-50hp? win win to me ^_^
the stock turbo is by my understanding the same (or a variant of) the ko3 that comes with mk5 GTIs. its been widely known that ko4 upgrades is a really good price for the gains made. i agree that a hybrid turbo is a good way to go if youre not looking to to make extreme power. this should mostly be contingent with not wanting to do extensive modifications too. its "just easier" to go ahead and get the fuel rail and bigger turbo since theyre essentially needed at the same time. i think a more accurate thing to consider by being honest with youself early on what your power wants are. you can get 300hp (280whp) on the stock turbo with a tune. or at least very close to it. 375hp is the stock fuel system limit. so thats your hardwall before considering needing/wanting a bigger anything. might be less if your arent pure e85/wmi. if youre on just pump, you have to be okay with limited options and be okay with potentially less than 375hp 400-600hp pretty much all demand the same mods with slight variations. you really only have a choice, keep it "slow", or go full throttle. the cost of the necesary kits is very expensive and why you either see extremely built focuses or ones that just have boltons. the hybrid will give you the edge on boltons when going pound for pound. as previously stated, you just have to be honest with yourself and goals.
Question what boltons were you running to make 315whp on 93 octane on your hybrid turbo? I’m currently running a turbo parts Canada hybrid turbo with depo 3.5 intercooler and Cobb intake. Cnt catted down pipe 3 inch. Mbrp 3 inch exhaust. Rmm and been pro tune by jst on 94 octane at 25psi. Just trying to figure out if I’m missing something. My buddy told be to do a symposer delete because it’s common for boost leaks
Hybrid turbos on the focus st have been very hit or miss unlike the fiesta excluding the c39 issues, the fiesta guys have a huge offering of hybrid turbos
Bro what Intake do you have, to have that dope ass flutter? Is it mishimoto? Iv had green filter forever and was thinking about getting the mishimoto intake.
What about also adding a two stage impeller that'll give you more horsepower also and you don't have to change your turbo either just changing the impeller.

Did you send in your original core at first or did you send it in after they sent you the new turbo? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
lets see an acceleration video.. got me thinking about turbobay instead of puma haha price for performance the X37 its probably 500$ more costly and makes MAYBE 10hp more than the turbobay setup on a good day.. seems like its pretty much the same really comes down to the car and tune if 10-15 hp is the 500$ difference..
What do you think about this I have a focus st 15 plate have literally all the hardware plus mr300 tune from mountune have pretty much upgraded everything induction kit charge pipes spark plugs hoses intercooler and more, wandered about getting x37 hybrid turbo think it's worth it ?

Upgraded my Merc C220 CDI to Hybrid, went from 233bhp and 369 torque (after stage 1 remap) to 285 bhp and 445 torque...
