In Whippendell woods, we found a few large clumps of oyster mushrooms, presumably Pleurotus ostreatus. They were past their best, but were huge! I didn't try to collect spores as the chances were there were none left. So I looked near the base, and sliced out a tiny bit of stem with growing mycelium.
