This beautiful girl is awesome. I'm a 37 year old woman just diagnosed with ADHD after my sevon year old son was! It's like the missing puzzle piece and everything makes so much more sense now.

My daughter has classic inattentive type adhd. Although I consider myself to be a good, loving, caring mom… I’m human. I find myself getting frustrated a lot. Watching these videos has really helped me to understand that it’s compassion and understanding she needs and when I can recognize that she’s hyper focusing on something or is unable to follow through with instruction, it’s not defiance, it’s just how her brain works. That’s what helps me to stay calm because I know it’s not her fault. She’s such a beautiful, creative, smart girl who has such a sweet side to her. It doesn’t do either of us any good to fight.

I cried when I watched this video for the first time. I look at you and I see myself when I was your age. I feel your pain. I am 31 years old now and I was just diagnosed, but young lady I am so glad that you are not one of us women who had to wait 30+ years to be properly treated. I’m glad that you were able to truly get to know and understand yourself on such a deep level. Maybe the past was difficult but you can tell that you come from a more empowered place now, one where self love comes easy. Best of luck Mia! 🖤

Honestly, a person who is also suffering from ADHD, your last minute of speech gave me hope and positivity.
I'm a 28 yr old guy who recently found out that he has ADHD, the things that you have gone through is 90% of what I have gone, but we need to be resilient. Because what we go through will not go away, we just need to get stronger
