Make cards release as “series” 4 again!

For real. I see no harm in having players get the chance to get some Eternals cards. When every other new card the past few months has been series 5. I just bararly got hope Summers using an ungodly amount of tokens.

It's probably not possible but I really liked those versions of the art shown before they went to the colorizer. It would be cool if we had a split type that let us use those versions.

Yeah honestly whilst I get why they added Arishem now, they should've done 2 seasons of just the members of the Eternals, and then thrown Arishem in a Celestial season.

@@rogueone207he meant so many xmen members, they (second dinner) had to seperate X-men into different seasons. He mention 1 season and half season, i get it half season means it's AvX season, and 1 season could be Exile, Hellfire Gala, Phoenix, or Days Future Past season. (All of it are Xmen Storyline)
So, in other words, so many Eternals members, second dinner had to introduce rest eternals member in other seasons. And why they introduce Arishem not Ikaris? I think they want add villain in this season. So, they will introduce ikaris and other eternals member with one villain again in the future.
I also don't like MCU version except sersi, and they didn't use Sersi MCU version!

Wow, Mello's sketchs are so much better than what the base art ends up looking like in game. The flat look with bold outline would be a welcome addition to the art style.
The flat colour versions really show off his linework much better, they look way more dynamic!

Gold needs to be cheaper. Cards that dont have any additional value in-game, shouldnt cost so dang much.
Agreed. They'd help their developers out too if cards like Uatu, Warpath, Rescue, etc aka cards that are generally not very good, didn't have 1200 gold variants too. Like there is ZERO reason any Uatu variant should cost EIGHTEENish dollars

Cards are cool and great and all, would be nice to see some gameplay features hit live before we all die of old age.
This will be downfall of snap. We want more fun things to do. And no league is not what we mean. Give me campaign mode where we gotta casserole destroy bot then discard bot and make them really good with good rewards. Or a tandem mode

Eduardo Mello is my favorite MS artist. I wish the majority of his work was colored my someone other than Kinnaird, their styles dont mesh well imo. His spotlight variant of Jeff is a great example of how awesome his work looks with a different colorist. Thanks for finally giving him attention on a video 👍

Getting cards sucks in this game. The last 4 weeks in a row I got duplicates or variants. Getting 1000 for Getting a duplicate card is stupid.

Right?! We had Blade as a season pass variant during Elsa’s season and Gamora was recently in the conquest shop. Like there are soooo many different cards that they could have used instead of using the same cards over and over. 🤦🏻♂️
Angel variant would have been more appealing being honest, low bar I know but I think that says something they still managed to miss.

An actually explain blade and gamora so in the movie eternals as the one guy is looking at the black blade blade talk to him and the other post credit scene has starfox thanos brother so they chose to put the daughter of thnos since hes not in the game plus it has to be cards you get early

Why is Gamora? She's not an Eternal. Sure, she's Thanos' adopted daughter and Thanos himself is an Eternal, but Gamora has never had anything to do with the Eternals aside from Thanos.

@@michelepezzotta7911 Likely because of his cameo (well, his voice was heard) at the end of the Eternals movie. It's definitely still a very questionable inclusion, but then who else could they really include? The only other characters in game I can think of with ties to the Eternals are Thanos (being an Eternal himself) and Black Knight (due to his relationship with Sersi) but both those are Series 5 cards.

Why did you swap around the first spotlight’s gladiator and the third spotlight’s Modok? I was planning on going for the first one and skipping the third, when now I’m not sure I want to pull for either? 😢
Something people should've realized over a year ago, datamines are not final. Don't depend on them until near the card's release.
The unexpected jump from Thena to Makkari with Phastos inbetween killed me xD
World forge is gonna cause a lot of turn 6 retreats. Imagine setting up your game ending combo for the location to change to one you can't play on for turn 6.

not really. Most of the time Annihilus sends the junk on turn 6 without priority.
Another Gamora and another Blade variant in a season pass! Just what everyone wanted 🤮. Also, it's been almost six months since the last raodmap, and we're still missing stuff from the "coming soon" portion of it. That's not even mentioning things that were promised to us from long long ago like the first edition stamps on cards. Would also love to know when the next series drop is going to be??
Next series drop is June 4th, they announced it a couple of weeks ago

That artist spotlight breakdown was so appreciated to see, I’ve been pondering about how the different styles & layers are penned; I speak for myself but the work is loved!

Finally the man that created all the base cards 👏
This season looks really cool. I think Gilgamesh will be cool in an handbuff deck or Kazar as seen in the video, he can also work really well with Zola and Taskmaster.
Arisham is going to be a nice meme card but will work really well with Quinjet, Loki and Blob.
Thena has potential in bounce and she works really well with Bast but might require more work, especially if you don't play her on turn 2.
Makkari will be great with Surfer, especially since she works well with Okoye (who can also buff Shaw) so I can see her slotting really well into that deck. Cerebro 3 is also a good mention since she helps with the problem C3 decks have which is usually flooding the board in order to make use of Cerebro's effect.
She can just any deck as a generic 3 drop, especially if you aim towards priority which she can do really well.
Sersi will be amazing in junk decks since you can bait your opponent with stuff like the Void and playing her instead of Annhilus. She works well with Sentry, Debrii, White Widow and Hood. She also counters many of the junk cards herself which is always a great value.
Phastos will be fine in a Surfer deck but I don't really feel you'd replace much for him tbh. If you want to play more 3 costs you have Hope Summers to ramp for you and Okoye to buff your deck. But I do think he enables the handbuff deck really well and with something like Magik or Crystal you'll be able to draw more of your buffed/discounted cards.
I love this game so much but I can’t get excited about the new cards for the season because I know I’ll only be able to get one of them plus the season pass card maybe two if I’m lucky, and I play everyday quite frequently, but it’s way too hard to unlock new cards, I’ve been playing since beta, still yet to get iron lad, annilus, missed red hulk wasting 3 keys, and so many more cards that I just can’t get and I know the the token shop exists but I don’t get nearly enough tokens for it to even matter, I’ve been saving my tokens for the last 6 months and I have 3000 right now, there needs to be an overhaul to the card collection system in this game soon or it’s not gonna be able to maintain its anti “pay to win” idea that it’s built around, in trying to make it not possible for pay to win to happen, they’ve accidentally made it impossible to be free to play and have more than half of series 4 and 5
Hey we still don’t have the very basic feature of adding effects (glimmer, tone flare, etc) to the cards with base backgrounds. Any word as to why this is taking so long?

New season that will be accompanied by yet another questionable set of nerfs that make no sense, god awful monetization, no improvements whatsoever to the overall state of the game (i.e. addressing bugs and improving existing features), and the absolute pile of crap that is the player support system.

This was one of the best seasons in the history of the game. R u insane? The balance patch fixed the game, the monetization is the best out of any mobile game Ive ever played. Im completely f2p and have nearly every card. Yall complain about EVERYTHING
@@SliferStreaming My main gripe with the bugs is that with the past few patches, they've introduced some pretty game breaking bugs (i.e. U.S agent spotlight cache issue #1, the end turn bug) as well as leave some bugs unaddressed because they regard them as low priority but it really kills the experience for me. I know they've said that they'll begin cracking down on some of the bugs they've regarded as low priority, but I'll believe it when I see it.
@@loganbostelmann8729 Yet it's people like you who'll dick ride second dinner for every little thing they do and ignore their most egregious changes. Their first balance patch of the season literally brought leech, which absolutely obliterated all mid-range decks and didn't address Hela as an issue at all. The next balance patch saw leech being brought back to its original cost, but still left hela as an overarching RNG spam problem that's been made consistent with blade and corvus.
The monetization is questionable at best, the economy was going pretty well in the game until they nerfed token acquisition and removed gold from the normal caches, which in parallel to these changes started pumping out token, credit, and gold bundles with inflated prices. If the monetization in-game is meant to be good then it every bundle that costs money should be worth the cost paid, not subject to resource scarcity
Plus, to top it off, with today's patch they literally removed the gambit variant from the "dealing with demons" bundle that ran earlier in the season (May 7-12) from player collections, which cost a $100 and the only compensation was 1200 in gold for a major change in the overall bundle contents. If the monetization is meant to be worth it, then such changes by second dinner shouldn't happen at a moments notice. It's basically the same shit show that occurred with the doctor doom kai bundle.
I have nearly every card as well and only purchase season passes if I find them worth it, and there's a major issue with card acquisition even though I didn't initially mention it.

What are first edition badges?
@spuderman4458_ Something the developers told us a long time ago that they were going to make for people who got cards while they were first introduced in series 5 and 4. Just a cosmetic bonus for your card to show it was a first edition. So some people (such as myself) bought cards we wouldn't have normally just because we wanted the badge that they said would be retroactive.
They've not really addressed it in forever.
@@NeroTheMana This is one of the things I think about the most whenever I hear about updates or new things. I really wish they would address this, even if it's just to let us know they don't care, especially since like you said people (me included) went for cards they wouldn't have just to get the badge which means people spent money to get something that never materialized.

So, if they introduce the one from Eternals they should use the full name Ajax the Greater and if they want to introduce the other Ajax they could call him Arex (his real name) or Ajax the Lesser.

very well said mate, i myself love playing with the living tribunal, but how long do i have to wait to get him? im stuck at pool 3 playing destroyer ongoing deck for the boosters and not even having fun because it cant beat the meta decks.

You could pretty much say that about most of the Eternals here.. they went with the MCU versions, even though that movie was one of the biggest flops for Marvel.
