Good idea on your back stop.
Like the clipbaord holder too.
👍
Thanks 👍
Nice shooting buddy Shane , and good ideas with the target sound proofing
Thanks mate and nice to see you making videos again. All the best. 🙂👍
nice mate . very affordable way to make some target holders 👍
Thanks Paul. 😀👍
👌 brilliant idea's thanks for sharing them 👍👍
My pleasure 😊
I made a right meal on my 1st effort with the biathlon target 😂
I agree that the rings andll the hole get a little mixed up when aiming at times. I might paint the paddles to help see through the reducers
Makes a big difference. If you decide to spray the front you need to protect the paddles with a bit of card otherwise they get sprayed too. 😅
Your dog was watching your shooting lol
His name is Buzz and follows me around like a shadow. He knows to stay behind the firing line when I'm shooting. 🙂
Great video Jeff and good shooting.. that wolverine is nice i wanna marry her 🤣🤣 thanks for some useful handy tips 👍👍I always learn something from you.. what's your dogs name, your pooch was trying to get in on the action 😀😂✌️🤟🤣🤣
Thanks Johnny, my dog's name is Buzz. He's a rescue and totally deaf but good company. 👍
Hi Jeff, Buzz that was my pals dogs name.. 👍👍😀😀 I used to take it out walks when my pal Dominic was working away from home.. ❤️ Your American video just popped up.. that looked like an amazing holiday adventure with your family ❤️what a great memory to have with them.. and happy birthday to Charlie, what a way to spend your birthday and he gets to have a go at shooting American style.. great video Jeff.. much love to you and your family.. 🤟✌️👍
@@johnnyhouston9913 Many thanks, I really appreciate your saupport.
Hello, welcome back. Where have you been? I thought you left the country. LOL
Thanks Steve. I felt a little burnt out after so many weekly videos and just wasn't feeling it for a while.
@@hftshooter I fully understand. The HFT Community I associate with, really appreciates what you are doing. Keep up the good work, as long as you can. 👍
We use a large plastic storage bin filled with shredded rubber mulch for our backyard “silent” trap. It works great, the bin keeps the mulch and lead inside so there’s no mess or dust if it’s used indoors. Just don’t use or make the box too big, otherwise it gets difficult to relocate.
Good solution! 👍
The bi-athlon target is probably intended for use with a diopter rear sight and a ring front element.
A bag of sand is £2, tape target to it, all done. Silent. They last ages too
If it works, it works! 🙂👍
with the 12 ftlb guns a old levi jeans in the catcher will work ./ with high power airguns a large 8mm hard steel plate under a sharp angel resting on stones , and on top a 100 kg sand and inside wil be silent , the bullets will slide in the sand , only a option id its permanent
All good ideas. My rubber floor tile works great too! 😀👍
this might seem a bit obvious but at our club we put a strip of masking tape on each corner. nice video
Thanks Brian. I've used masking tape too, I just like the idea of clips. 🙂👍
Just a thought you could mount your metal funnel type pellet catcher permanently to a piece of A4 sized plywood then just slip it into the angle iron target holder, that way it could be totally level and your able to collect all the lead. But still be able to remove it when needed. Just my two cents.
Thanks Graham. Yes I could do that but then I'd still have to contend with quieting the pellet on metal.
@@hftshooter good point. 👍
Have you seen the guy who shoots with his goat 🐐? He melted all his old lead pellets into the pellet catheter as a lining. Then all lead that hits the lead lining just becomes part of a lump of lead . He says it’s near silent
Yes, seen that thanks. My rubber floor tile works just as well. 🙂👍
Why did you remove the long string and then add a short string?
Because I wanted a detachable string and the one provided is a bit naff!
Can you please tell me where you bought your new target
The metal target was bought from Pellpax.
@@hftshooter thank you very much.stay well. All the best Vince
Put a screw in each corner and just use a pinboard stile magnets
Thanks. As I mentioned, I didn't want to use magnets, they fall off and get lost.
As I think I mentioned, I didn't want to use magnets as they can fall off and get lost.
@hftshooter I must of missed that bit ,I was watching while my dog was wanting a play fight lol
Enjoy your videos when are we going to see Wendy's replacement as your number 1😂
I have an excellent new rifle that I was due to review, but another youtuber stole my thunder and I didn't want to be accused of copying so I'm waiting for the dust to settle before I feature it.
@@hftshooter hard to be original on TH-cam but you are doing a good job
Thanks! 😀👍
We complicate things don't we 😂
We certainly do! 😄
Don't pray explain. Explain why you're performing the act, more entertaining.
Sorry mate you've lost me. What do you mean? 🙂
Hi there, nice video... I'll buy a few clipboards myself now, cracking idea.
Btw, what did you do with your two budget underlevers? I've just bought both to get back into plinking after 35 years away and I have to say, with a little tlc and decent scopes I'm really quite pleasantly surprised. So thanks for the advice, The only issue now is the missus has been bitten by the big and wants a rifle... But the x36 magnum and the war hawk are way too big and heavy for her. Any recommendations? ( I think my next is an HW97 import)
Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work
Thanks. I have one budget underlever that's due for another appearance soon. Perhaps an HW30 springer or an air arms S200 pcp for your wife?
