I can't count how many times other women have come to my aid, at every stage of my life. In fact when I was pregnant I was getting sick in a hobby lobby bathroom and several women helped me up and one had the good sense to notice I was in labor not just pukey because I just figured being pregnant just sucked and got progressively worse and I was only 32 weeks so I assumed that wasn't it. I had other girls loan me shorts or a shirt to cover my back side if I leaked. You ALWAYS share a tampon or pad if you have it. I didn't want to think my daughter wouldn't have other women help preserve her dignity the way others helped me and so on.

Plus my girls go to different schools than I did bc I was born and raised in another state than where we live now. I just try and teach them the same morals that were instilled in me: to always stand up for what is right even if your made fun of for it. If more parents all did this, I think we’d have a better school setting. I do agree it is easier to have a guy as a friend then girls though. They don’t usually cause as much immature drama.

When I was in the grade where everyone was starting their periods, it was like a respect moment when a girl got her first period. Like a maturity thing. We would always help each other out when we needed a pad or tampon. I was a late starter though so I wasn’t really part of those conversations
I remember one of the boys in my class (who im friends with) he overheard the boys in our class laughing at the girls for their periods. My friend warned me and to tell me girls to be careful and dont worry because he would be telling the principal. He is very nice and isnt one of those boys so is dirty minded. Im grateful to have him as my friend :)

When I was in middle school, I was the first girl in my class to menstruate so I tried to hide it. Too bad my pads were showing in the pocket of my bag (they were like bright green) and a classmate said to me "can you just put those away? It's disgusting". Everyone laughed at me because I had extra pads in my bag so yeah it can happen
I literally was at a swim meet and I started leaking through on my swimsuit and not a single girl there told me. And it was long enough where the red had been on my butt. I had to go into the bathroom and find out in my own and I was furious. I know this is an abnormal experience as usually girls have each others back but I seriously just wanna say that in this experience I wanted other girls to know that you should NEVER hesitate to help out in a period situation. I would have rather been embarrassed with someone telling me than find out on my own with no one telling me at all. Not really the point though, and in some schools and work environments you can't just wear baggy pants or sweats. In the last one the daughter wanted different products and the mother kept denying that to her. The daughter's feelings and wishes for her own needs were not respected or heard by the mother. This level of embarrassment and not feeling heard in this scenario happens with every girl at some point. She is just trying to show that as relatable content for some viewers.

Here’s an idea. I know it’s very important to wear cloths that put you on display, like an advertisement for “what I’ve got, boys”, but maybe wearing pants that look like someone barely used a thin layer of spray paint isnt a great idea for that particular week. I’m shocked at what some girls wear nowadays, but in order to fit in they seem to be easily willing to give up their self respect and dignity. A gynecologist could diagnose an issue from 10’ away with the girl “dressed”.

Dude I had a bunch of pads fall out of my backpack once in front of the whole bus in middleschool, and even though those kids made fun of me every day for everything else on the planet they NEVER shit on me for that. In Australia 🇦🇺, we have massive cages in the middle of nearly every single shopping centre n local shops as well, n they are filled with all sorts of pads n tampons. There are alot of homeless ppl here alot are women. We have the attitude of just 1 packet from everyone, it doesn't have to be every time u shop, just 1 packet, I buy just 1 packet every 3 or 4th shop, even tho I'm to old to get my periods, way to old, just 1 packet.

When I was in middle school, I was the first girl in my class to menstruate so I tried to hide it. Too bad my pads were showing in the pocket of my bag (they were like bright green) and a classmate said to me "can you just put those away? It's disgusting". Everyone laughed at me because I had extra pads in my bag so yeah it can happen

I literally was at a swim meet and I started leaking through on my swimsuit and not a single girl there told me. And it was long enough where the red had been on my butt. I had to go into the bathroom and find out in my own and I was furious. I know this is an abnormal experience as usually girls have each others back but I seriously just wanna say that in this experience I wanted other girls to know that you should NEVER hesitate to help out in a period situation. I would have rather been embarrassed with someone telling me than find out on my own with no one telling me at all. So please please please say something or do something no matter what because it’s just moral right and it doesn’t hurt anyone to do a good deed.

Not really the point though, and in some schools and work environments you can't just wear baggy pants or sweats. In the last one the daughter wanted different products and the mother kept denying that to her. The daughter's feelings and wishes for her own needs were not respected or heard by the mother. This level of embarrassment and not feeling heard in this scenario happens with every girl at some point. She is just trying to show that as relatable content for some viewers.

At our school, they have a free dispenser for pads and tampons, but they ran out and then have never restocked it so there is no point in having it.

Here’s an idea. I know it’s very important to wear cloths that put you on display, like an advertisement for “what I’ve got, boys”, but maybe wearing pants that look like someone barely used a thin layer of spray paint isnt a great idea for that particular week. I’m shocked at what some girls wear nowadays, but in order to fit in they seem to be easily willing to give up their self respect and dignity. A gynecologist could diagnose an issue from 10’ away with the girl “dressed”.

I don't understand the paranoia or hate over the pads. Literally NO ONE cares. The biggest difference I can think of is swimming. If I was on the swim team, ok, need to use a tampon because I don't have a choice about when I need to get suited up and in the pool.

In Australia 🇦🇺, we have massive cages in the middle of nearly every single shopping centre n local shops as well, n they are filled with all sorts of pads n tampons. There are alot of homeless ppl here alot are women. We have the attitude of just 1 packet from everyone, it doesn't have to be every time u shop, just 1 packet, I buy just 1 packet every 3 or 4th shop, even tho I'm to old to get my periods, way to old, just 1 packet.
