@@trabuco9 But there's nothing left to do. Even a brand new show is just going to repeat the same plot lines and plot points as other shows because it's all been done. It is not possible to be "creative" in the absolute sense anymore because we're too weighed down by history.

James Pond II is awesome haha, it's really weird though and like some drug trip. If you want to play a great game Mike, next time you're on mega drive, try Darius II (one of the best shmoop em ups (granted, the saturn one's are the best)

42:30 I actually loved Shadow Blasters, but even I forgot it existed til I saw a clip in a video and it all came back. It's painful to watch you stumble through it. If only I could tell you like two things you'd kick it's ass in one try. The key is to level up everyone, and each color powerup does a different stat like attack power, speed, jump, etc. One is a health pickup, make sure to keep everyone alive by getting them with the right person, kind of like the Turtles actually. Also you can charge your attack at most levels and many are homing, good for bosses. You can continue, but you lose all your leveling progress so it's best done in one go. I loved it as a kid because I could beat it, it controls well, and it's pretty weird. Never heard of Sage's Creation outside of making it.
Playing a bunch of Sega Genesis without playing Golden Axe or Street of rage you can't do that Mike.

Mike you should track down a copy of Spiderman VS. Kingpin on SEGA CD it's actually far superior to the Genesis version
Sparkster is ok, it's fun and different. But really not as good as the first game: Rocket Knight Adventures.

PHILEOS!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT I THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT. It's a Greek mythology top down shmup. I know there are infinite numbers of shmups but this arcade port to Sega is FANTASTIC. Flying on Pegasus shooting up charge shots with your sword. I Know it's sounds like any other game but trust me bruv.
I love watching Mike get wrecked at the same bosses/levels, his reactions are the best.

Wings of Wor- One of my favorite shooters. Mike, you were right there! almost made it to the infamous "giant cock" boss in that stage...🤣. This is a true gem, as many of the Genesis shooters are.

Gauntlet 4 doesn't get talked about enough, for having one of the best soundtracks on the Genesis. Also....Columns 3 is a cheap ass game lol
Shadow blaster is a great game, released in 1989 if I’m not wrong, for the time the graphics are awesome (1-2 years before the Snes was released). The genesis’ library is full of hidden gems like this
I don't see nearly enough people talking about Second Samurai, a competent platformer with epic boss fights, lots of levels and password system, enough variety for 3 or 4 hours of play, not sure why isn't more well known
DecapAttack is another unfairly judged game, seen as a kid's gimmick but it's a brutal platformer and lots variety too, huge levels, inventory system
Kid Chameleon is a super game. Call it good or bad, it's a challenge. There are so many alternate paths, the re-playablity factor is one of the best. Please!!!!!!
Fu€k!ng love Kid Chameleon dude!! It’s so unique and I actually really like the art style. It does get fairly difficult and it DESPERATELY needed a save option.. thankfully these current times afford the players the ability to use save states. It really sucked having to start from the beginning of the game every time I played it as a kid. (That or you had to just leave the game on and paused till you come back to it) but yea man, I REALLY love the game and it’s kind of a shame how under appreciated it is. My glowing review/opinion of the game is most definitely biased and I might be looking back on it with rose tinted glasses because it provided me with such great childhood memories, playing it alongside my brothers as youngins… it’s one of a handful of the most memorable, impactful video games of my childhood that have left the biggest impressions on me. One of the games that resonated most with me and I look upon most fondly. So yeah, I def support more Kid Chameleon love, and it’s right up Mike’s alley considering the difficulty level.

You should try Undeadline and Elemental Master, they are pretty good, or even very good, but hard. Similar to Twinkle Tale wich is super, but these are autoscrolling.
Snow Bros is pretty good if you like Bubble Bobble-ish games.

There's nothing topical about it, ie: there was no prior discussion of anything you said.
I'm all for scathing humor, I've had some quite brutal things said to me, but it was genuinely meant as a joke, and it "was" funny, but it seems like your priorities are a bit mixed. Seems like your intent was to be mean first, and then try to wrap it in a thin veil of humor as excuse. Seeing as how we don't know each other, and your comment doesn't reference anything topical, it reeks of desperation. I mean, what compelled you to write that? What payoff were you hoping for?
But the greatest sin of all, is that it simply isn't funny. I used to try too hard as well, and after embarrassing myself a few times, I learned to have a bit more control over my impulse to just blurt things out, and to try to be funny. One well timed, topical joke can set you up nicely in a social environment, but these weak, desperate attempts are hard to shake off. Once someone involuntarily rolls and/or averts their eyes from you because of somethibg you said, there's pretty much no redeeming yourself. If you did that in front of a girl you wanted, you just permanently annihilated any chance you had. Making these cringy unwarranted jokes on youtube is one thing, but please don't do this kind of stuff in person. People may not say it, but once they feel that disdain of embarrasment, that's how they'll see and feel about you forever. Just learn to hold your tongue unless you have a real gem, then by all means let it fly.

Bonkers was supposed to be a 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' spin off, but they did it so poorly. They had like 3 actual disney characters, & they were incorporated in the worst ways. Like there was a whole episode about Mickey, where he's stuck in a pet carrier, & I don't think you ever actually see him. I can understand not showing WB, or Tex Avery characters, but disney, even at the time, had a large library of characters, including cross overs with other disney cartoons they could've done.
The guy who called Funko pop collectors 'losers' probably blows all his money on Madden, or MLB The Show. I mean you'd have to have pretty low self esteem to shit on someone being passionate about something, or, you know, buying a fucking toy/statue/whatever.

A button is spread, long single shot with b button makes the final boss way easier. Like beat the game without continues easier.
