      Happy to help! I hope your experience is going great so far. You primarily use E6000 when the Rhinestone doesn't have the adhesive on the back or if the item cannot handle the heat from the applicator.

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi thanks for your support. No need for a glue if you purchased the kit with the applicator and rhinestones. The glue is already on the rhinestones and they are activated when the heat applies to it. I did another video explaining how it works too. You only need glue if you are not using the applicator with the rhinestones.

    What materials would you recommend not using a bedazzler on? Cause I’m looking to bedazzle my taser and some Starbucks Coffee cups that you buy for home. Are these items going to melt with use of the bedazzler? I can’t find much info anywhere I look

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Hi Jay, the instructions for the heat applicator indicates that it can be used on materials such as paper card, wool-trevira, cotton, linen, wool, viscose, tulle, denim, Lycra, cotton jersey, silk, synthetic (polyester etc). Technical fabrics and artificial fur are all suitable to apply hitfix crystals. Less absorbent materials such as metal, glass, plastic, smooth leather and fabric with waxy surface wouldn't be suitable for absorbing the hotflix glue. That's why I recommend using glue for application in those materials that are not suitable. I'll do a video to test some surfaces and different materials and see how they work out.

    • @flowerfairyxo

      The hotfix pen does not need or apply glue, the hotfix pens purpose is to heat up. Basically you have to get rhinestones called hotfix rhinestones which already have glue on the backs, when you place the rhinestone on your fabric, apply the hotfix pen and then it will melt the glue from the diamond :)
      You do not need any glue

How about you try this same brand of rhinestones and hotfix and see if that makes a difference. Try not to put it in dryer and see if that works too.

    Hi, how to make sure that the rhinestone didnt come out when we wash the tshirt ? Another is when i tried some of the glue come out to the side like a chain..any tips for that as well?

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Audrey, sorry for the delayed response not sure I saw this message before. Once you Heat the applicator and use it to apply the stones that are included in this package or ones designed to adhere with heat you should be good. This shirt has been washed many times and still doing great no stones have fallen off.

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are using glue to apply rhinestones just enter that you are using the smallest amount possible to avoid excess spills to the side.

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it's clear glue it won't show up as much when it's dried though. Let me know if these suggestions work for you.

      Hi Daniel, These rain stones were created with the glue already Built-in. That is the reason why we use the hotfix applicator to apply the rain stones to the shirts. Check out my last video and it will show you how this works.

    what makes it stick? does it melt the stone to the fabric?

    • @craftbasicsjs
      @craftbasicsjs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, the stones are created with an adhesive on the back and this allows them to stick to the fabric when heated by the hot fix applicator. There are some rhinestones that do not have this adhesive on the back so I'll do a video explaining both ok.
