Holy Cow Jennifer! I can not imagine the time you and your team needed to design and figure this all out, then put it together in a well thought out, timed and easy to follow tutorial. You guys are awesome, thank you so much!!!
Thank you! I've been waiting for you to do a rhinestone tutorial for a while. I know there are others on TH-cam, but I found them hard to follow. Your tutorials are always easy to understand.
I am SO excited. I have been researching how to do this. I have purchased all but a couple of Jennifer Maker’s classes and finished them, even the biggest one. I attribute that to what a great teacher she is. I can’t believe how much I have learned. It sounds like a commercial, but I truly can go to my art studio and make almost anything I want. I still make stupid mistakes, but I am so thrilled to have learned so much.
Oh, I see you have a channel too?! I saw your name and checked & wow! I am disabled with a chronic condition as well and crafting has helped keep me sane, so I will be heading over there to support your channel!! ❤
You made such a difficult craft seems so inspiring and easy to accomplish. I have the attention span of a cat in this caught my attention from beginning to end like I never looked or scrolled or anyting I actually watched this completely to the end and I was amazed at how you figured it out!!
Thank you for sharing this process, my mind is going a mile a minute and so many ideas are just popping up. Not only t-shirts but also pictures. Can't wait to try this❣️

Looking forward to trying this, but have to either wait for the rhinestones to get back in stock or alternate sources. Love me some bling! Thanks for an easy to follow tutorial!
This video was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! I’m ready to start designing now 😀 Two questions 1- how to place an outline around a word? For example - if I want Love in clear and outlined in red - how is that template created? 2- why is it necessary to attach a square to the rhinestone template at the very end?
Amazing video with perfect instructions! Thank you, Jennifer! I am very interested in doing custom rhinestone designs using the Cricut, not limited to t-shirts. Before I buy a Cricut machine can you tell me if there is the capability to convert regular images such as photos, logos, into a rhinestone template? I would like to create particular designs for a specific target market. Any input or resources you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Absolutely! You can make rhinestone templates right in Cricut Design Space! This tutorial will walk you through every step for not only working with my design, but creating your own custom rhinestone transfer templates.
Hi Jennifer - this looks like yet another fun thing to do! 😄I noticed you said your rhinestones came with instructions that said to put the heat at 385*F. I have an older Cricut Heat Press that only goes to 360*F. If my rhinestones require a higher heat, what would you suggest (besides getting a new heat press, haha)? Using 360*F for longer than the recommended time? Many thanks!
Hi Jennifer, I loved your video about making a rhinestone templates. I have some shirts that I did glueing rhinestones on one by one this would work so much better. Now I see you have a chart with the size holes for the rhinestones of course the rhinestones I need isn't on the list my question is how do you figure out the hole size that's not on your list? Thank you in advance for your help and for the video, I have more shirts to do.
Hi Jennifer! This is great. We are just getting into this craft are are having so much fun. We are using your videos and resources as a template and we have had great success so far. I wonder, how do you organize your rhinestones?
This is great! I am working on my own template. Is there a why to duplicate the dots more than 1 at a time? And is there a way for them to go in a row like you show? Mine go all over my canvas. Thank you so much for these videos. I just started working with a cricut.
My flock is a nightmare, so sticky :( I am having trouble cutting, new mat, your settings trying now. I did have 300 2x and all the dots were on top of the flock, so changed it to your settings x fingers it works. this time.
This is so exciting! I already have my order in for the rhinestones and flock to try this myself! I have a question though..... why did you have to slice the circle letter a before continuing to change the circle sizes? Thank you.

Good afternoon. Can you please advise how do I resize a word to the size I need and keep the circles the size I need. I have done the word, combine and weld then contour and size the circle to the size I need. But when I try to size the word to fit my shirt and the circles resize too so I can’t get the size of the word to fit the size of the circles !!! What am I doing wrong ????
Thanks for getting back to me. I have gone over the tutorial several times, do you mean the way you did the star? Is there a way to do it using the RS01 cursiva font?
My design should upload the correct size. It shouldn't be too big to cut. If it's your own design then you need to resize before adding the rhinestone cut outs🥰
This tutorial is great but it doesn't show how Design Space converts the svg file into circles for the rhinestones. It looks like you selected a premade template. Do you have a tutorial that shows how the software converts the image into rhinestone pattern? I saw Silhouette Designer software has an actual menu of features specific to converting an image into a rhinestone template pattern.I would be so greatful if you can provide information if Cricut Design Space can do the same or do i need to purchase Silhouette Designer to accomplish this?
Design Space doesn't convert the svg files into circles for the rhinestones, unfortunately. However, this can be done with other software. We are using the business edition of Silhouette Studio. From there, you can export an SVG that can be uploaded to Design Studio.
@@chefbuck13 Thank you! After much research, I came to the same conclusion and I have purchased Silhouette Designer and that version includes the rhinestone panel. Definitely a better option than some of the hacks I saw for Design Studio.
@@lindamoshier2463 Agreed. I would caution against "Release Rhinestones" as this may cause issues when uploading to Design Studio. There are ways to fix the file out side of Silhouette Studio if you do have to edit the individual placement of the stones, but depending on your technical ability, it may be difficult.
There are two options for cutting the flock material. The first method is recommended by the manufacturer and it is the method I prefer. The second is an option that makes it easier to keep your mat clean, but I feel it was ultimately more work and used more material to weed the flock. Both methods are popular ways of cutting the material, so please use whichever you find to be the easier method. Remember that all machines are different and though these cut settings worked well for me, you may need different settings. Flock material can also come in different thicknesses and material types. Testing your settings is always recommended. jennifermaker.com/rhinestone-templates-with-cricut/
@@JenniferMaker ive followed all the instructions. Once i hide contours, i have the dot. as soon as i click to resize the dot in the tool bar, the box automatically resizes to the original size of the name im trying to make (i.e 3.5 inches). the dot remains, but the box around it is enlarged. Then, if i reduce the size to 0.17, & show contours, the entire design is 0.17". im not sure whats happening and im following the instructions to the letter 😢
