The Peterbilt used for most scenes in Duel was a 1955 model 281 tractor. After they finished the film they needed some additional footage to release it overseas in theaters, they got the 1961 351 you mentioned[which still exists].
Peter Zimmerman, I know sitting inside the cab of that particular movie truck would deliver an eerie vibe. And since the movie was based on the short story article of the late Richard Matheson's traumatic reality experience after he and a friend cut short their golf outing upon learning @ JFK's assassination on 11/22/1963(Fri.), PLUS I even suppose John F. Kennedy's spirit haunts that truck @ night.
I'm not sure how accurate this is, but Christine is still very strong, because she managed to survive the explosion at the gas station and come out just fine.
Fantastic list. I'd mention cars from Killdozer (1974), Death Car on the Freeway (1979), The Gladiator (1986), Rolling Vengeance (1987), Mirage (1990), The Ambulance (1990), Trucks (1997), A Friday Night Date (2000), Black Cadillac (2003), Monster Man (2003), Throttle (2005), Super Hybrid (2010), Road Kill (2010), The Car: Road to Revenge (2019) too. And I'm so happy you mentioned Elvira's car. It's brilliant
The Wheels of Terror (aka according to the locals of Copper Valley, AZ, a black 1974 sedan). The movie this terrifying car is in inspires me to write ✍️ a thriller novel based on a shockingly weird dream I had in mid-fall of 1989 @ such another car, a battered, dusty/dirty mixed years(a 1971-1972) faded primer brick red Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon nearly a year prior to Wheels of Terror's debut on cable television(USA Network). It happened after I gradually fell asleep while 😴 reading the first 4 pages of The Hardy Boys 1st mystery series, "The Tower Treasure" on chapter one (The Speed Demon), where Frank and Joe were tailgated on their motor bikes by a navy blue 1954 sedan of a Ford or GM make. 😳😨
Best evil vehicles in all film of history are Peterbilt 281 of Duel, Christine and the Car, all the others are only bad copies. I can also save the goblin faced big rig in Maximum Overdrive.....🤔
In Wheels Of Terror The School Bus Does Not Have The Traditional Engine, Instead The Bus Has Instead A V8 Engine Judging By The Sounds Of When The School Bus Driver Hits The Gas, And This Explains Why The Dodge Charge Hard A Hard Time Getting Away. Also The Engine In The Bus Has Teething Troubles The Bus Is Sometimes Seen Being Serviced (Clearly The Bus Is Not Built For Speed), And Also When The Bus Broke Down At The Climax Of The Film. And Lord Behold The Bus Driver Having Saving Her Child Manages To Start The Engine, And Move The Bus Out Of The Way Just In The Nick Of Time When The Dodge Charger Tried To Crash Right Into Them A Cliff Dive, But The Dodge Charger Misses Them By About A Cars Bumper, And Falls Into A Epic Cliff Dive Right Into A Shed Holding A Lot A TNT Completely Destroying The Evil Muscle Car (The Car, The Building, And All Of The TNT Blowed Up!!!
actually most chevy/gmc commercial chassis based busses have V8 engines, the Wheels of Terror school bus however had a race-application V8 as described by the gearhead mechanic at the beginning of the film
Duel should of been no1 because every car chase with a cliff dive in the dessert oh really any car chase in the desert has been inspired by duel. Duel is one of my favorite car chase movies it probably forever will be.
Not totally! Standard '58 Furys all were Buckskin Beige with anodized gold trim. The film's assembly line had only one bright red Fury - showing its evil spirit even then.
I find it funny that the car from the 1977 movie I found a kind of funny quote unquote indestructible just let Doom guy have a couple minutes with it that car will be probably pieces
Can someone call the traffic officers and tow truck staff? - Audience.

In death proof the charger was a 69.
Out of all of them The Car, Christine and the possessed Classic are the ones that are the most evil.
7:08 looks like Megatron
Professor fates hannibal twin 8 deserves an honorable mention.

Great vid tho
No possessed truck from 'Nightmares' (1983)?
Aww, ya missed the opportunity to add the 1938 Rolls - Royce Wraith from NOS4A2. Definitely more deserving than several of the cars listed.
