.i've seen enouf black girls with 3a to 4c and their hair is not defying AT ALL.. lol Maybe that's why there was just ONE dark skin 4 hair gurl with just few of her ends curled and the rest of the hair as freezy af.

To be fair type 4 hair is not going to get define in 30 mins. And her hair is wet that is a wrap with any product with a braid out or twist.

@@scbrina3132 Yes you can. Gels that are more waxy, that dry with a cast works, eg. Eco Styler Krystal and ORS Curl clumping gel.

*Always check your ingredients list before buying stylers, dear type 4 naturals*
*If you check the ingredients list of the curling cream, if it doesn't have ingredients like Xanthan Gum (for those looking for natural alternative) or Acrylate Crosspolymer, VP/VA Copolymer, Polyquaternium-69, -55, -4, -10, -11, PVP, Ceteareth-25 etc, and you are a type 4 with dense/coarse hair and if you live in either a humid or dry environment, you wong have any curl definition.*

I have 4B hair. I thought it was a mix of 4B et 4C, until I used Rihanna's Fentyhair products et then it all started clumping together as a Z pattern using the curl definer. I barely used any of the products et it started showing my curl pattern. I have thin strands though so it's super easy for my hair to get weighed down. My hair was coily when I used the shampoo et deep conditioner.

I think the styler may just be too watery for your hair. Like personally I know watery gels don't work for my wash and go, I have to use extremely thick gel but then they start flaking by day 3 😩 but yeah that could be it. Your hair looks very shiny and bouncy otherwise ❤❤

I think it did a pretty good job wit the initial definition of ur curls after u washed it. It def went from straight/fuzzy to moist curled. Just wasnt tight curls bc ur hair has some length to it. I would like it bc i hv shrinkage that this cream would help loosen alil more wit my wash and go. And when said 30 to 45 under dryer i chuckled bc i knew it would take longer. We hv similar texture. Great vid tho🎉 very insightful. This is def not any criticism.

    • @uberhaute_naturalz84

Just do a little research on hydrolysed protein on the internet. Hydrolyzed Quinoa has all the amino acids that are the building blocks of hair and skin, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein strengthes and Smoothens, Hydrolyzed Keratin also strengthens and Smoothens, Hydrolyzed Rice voluminises and Hydrolyzed Collagen is a hardcore strengthening protein. These all depends on where they are on the ingredients list.
If they are in the first five, then it means they are in significant amounts and if not, it means they could just be a moisture/balance treatment or for aesthetic purposes
