He says he fears the right media (Breitbart) and politicians will protect him like the left did for the Democrats. They should be honest don't lie for Trump.

    Ben has a lot of valid points concerning Trump but heres what it comes down to ya'll. I like Ben, am willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and hope he proves me and Ben wrong by being a great president. Plain and simple.

      He didn't trash him at all here. He merely stated some things that have been true about Trump but that he has been wrong about a lot of things concerning the election and Trump and hoped that Trump, as President, would be everything we hope he'll be and prove him (Ben) wrong again.
      I think Ben Shapiro really does want the best for the country and really does hope he's been wrong about Trump. I haven't agreed with everything Ben's ever said but for the most part he's on target.
      As for Trump, hey, he's been very presidential lately and I think this is what Ben's talking about as for as the candor of a Republican President.

      teflon president because he's actually toxic, and after a bit of use begins to degrade and seep into your food, slowly poisoning you. Talking about Reagan, not trump. Reagan did a lot of good but the war on drugs is soooooo retarded. Only reason it's good is because it woke me up early with it's terrible disguise.

    • @tegridyfarms9972

      That's a good thing, and you shouldn't be afraid of it. NO president, whether that be a Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Obama, or Trump, should be exempt from the scrutiny and criticisms from the American people. If you want to live in a country where it's citizens are not allowed to critique and criticize its leaders, then you want to live under the rule of a dictator. The first Ammendment is our most sacred right as citizens! Freedom of speech and free press! Without THAT, we cannot call ourself a free country. King David Ben is the typical egotistical megalomaniac. He insults Trump for being REAL, not faking and lying, to kiss people's ass in order to get their vote. Any other person who runs for president has always had less to lose thanTrump. Trump had the cahonas to risk his life, his riches, his businesses to run for president, over anyone else...... BECAUSE he CARES about our country and wants to save us from losing our country! He never HAD to do this. He could have ignored politics and kept living his dream life, and let someone else take this abuse. HE CAN'T BE BOUGHT! HE IS FOR REAL, which is why he is MORE qualified for the job than anyone else. No politician EVER had the experience to run a country until they got elected!
      I voted for him because he is the only one running who ever had a success in running a business. I would give him the chance to try .

      No, he is honestly wishing/praying that Trump will prove his personal distrust wrong again because it will be good for the country. I understand his angst. How many times have the GOP failed to keep their promises. So, an honest question is, will Trump remain true to his promise and resolute or will he cave. That, to me, is an honest worry which is mine who, in this case, voted for him. Already in his acceptance speech he has praised Hillary for her contribution and service. What?! She used her position to milk millions, corrupted the DOJ and FBI, and put the country at risk. What is there to praise? All he should have said was that she put up a good fight and nothing else. That is why I am worried as Ben is.

    I kinda see Trump as having adapted along the way... Take a look at the primaries versus now. I have faith, he just was never a career politician. Minus the Alfred Smith dinner, I think he has hit back when he needed to, hell, even at that same dinner. He isn't the "bully". My child is in first grade, has gotten bullied all last year by one asshole kid with worthless parents. The teachers refused to do anything and offered up excuses about the other child's way of doing things and that my child being white, he owed it to minorities to be bullied and take it with a grain of salt. Well, I encouraged him and showed him how to defend himself. A week later, this kid kicked my child in the face while he was tying his shoes. My son punched this kid in his nose and put him on the ground. After a full year of bullying. My son is the one that ends up going to the office, now he is the one labeled the bully for FINALLY hitting back. Society needs to change. Period. The bully isn't the one that gets enough of bullying. Donald Trump was a joke to Hillary and it bit her hard. I hope he doesn't screw things up. I hope, if anything, he brings us back further from Obama's horrible, country destroying policies.

    Ben while I like you, the problem with the conservative movement is we don't appeal to minorities. We need to target Minorities and tell them why our way is correct. Give them the ladder and let them climb. Minorities will become the majority in years to come. So we need to use Trumps victories in those areas an amplify them but stick to our values as well.
    For instance his trade policy. You disagree with it. But the problem is we can't have free trade unless BOTH parties have free trade. Our value must be applied equally. If they increase tariffs then we bring it to their lv and tell them "We are willing to have a free trade. But you need to do it WITH us."

Or just a cheep small busing place. And invest in businesses just outside the city. And slowey build in while they adapt?
      OR. Infrastructure. While it doesn't increase GPA, It would temperarliy give them jobs and stop crime. THEN we can invest.

    • @JinKsed17
      @JinKsed17 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cody Townsend I respect your idea, and I sincerely agree with it. But frankly, I think that it would only work on a low/middle income area populated by working class families with average education.
      The reality of the low income areas that we're talking about here is that they're occupied by people with broken families and low education standards. Most of them can't hold a steady job for more than 2 months and many turn to crime as a way out.
      Plus, with all the race disparity that's going on, thinks get even harder.
      You want actual change, you need to change the culture and education first. Only then can you get things moving.

    Ben, you are Wrong Again. Being someone who promoted you and your career to many conservatives when you were fresh out of college I was disappointed by your stubbornness on this matter. I have been confident that Trump was going to win since he announced his entry into the Race. Because I saw the Real Trump during the revival of NYC in the 1990's. During a real estate walk-thru of a property redevelopment in Manhattan I most remember how natural and comfortable Trump was with his workers I'm talking Concrete, electricians, laborers. He had all of them relaxed and loyal to his mission. He sometimes would grab a Hot Dog from the corner vendor and sit with everyone else. He could have catered in a special meal with his money. I think if you continue to take yourself too seriously you will continue to be wrong. I know you love hearing your voice and you enjoy the voices of your fans praising your moral compass. What you failed to recognize is that sometimes the stakes are so high that only a fool would dig in for principle at these moments. I love and appreciate the work you've done in such a short time for the conservatives in America & the World. Ben, I wish you would understand that when you are constantly under assault everywhere you go for reasons that defy logic, it can actually change a person no matter how hard you try to not let the damage show. Trump is under attack for his silver spoon, his skin color, his confidence and everything he holds dear. His defense was a shell of vocal promotion of himself since no one else will give him praise. I am confident saying this, he will go down in history as the President who saved our nation and the Greatest President to lead our country ever. I know those are big claims so please listen and help instead of hamper. Going forward you are going to see wins like never before. Trump will be the hardest, smartest and a most Loyal leader to his voters than you could ever imagine. Join in on the moment and don't over think it. Trump will need us all while he enters into the meat grinder.

    In the beginning Ben makes it clear that he got it wrong on about 10 issues. The biggest two for me is that Trump would not win the primaries and would not become president. And this is where Ben gambled and lost, big time.If Trump had lost, Ben would of been the man, he would have had thousands of more followers and everyone would have come to him for wisdom. He gambled his future success on Trump losing and now he is not part of the 33 million viewership that Breitbart enjoys.He is not part of the Trump team that is today guiding the most powerful man in the world. Ben vilified the man, just like the left,in fact a little worse than the left. I watched Ben closely in this Ep. 208 and what came over was a man desperate to salvage his reputation. You did what all the media did Ben. You followed and believed the polls. You were watered and fed by the media even if you deny this. I am an amateur at politics, not even well educated. I bought two of your books because at 55 I was concerned at what I was witnessing over the years and became a big fan of yours Yet as a South African now living in Britain and who voted for Brexit saw exactly what was happening and knew that Brexit was going to win. How? Because I spoke to ordinary people. The local shopkeeper asked me what was I voting for noting my South African accent and I said Brexit and he went silent and said, all my customers are voting for Brexit. So I started asking shop keepers like the hardware guy and he said the same, his customers were voting Brexit. It did not take a genius or a politically aware person to realise that the majority, who are ordinary people were not thinking the same as those voices coming from the Telly. When Brexit won i focused on USA election and started following Breitbart. What I noticed immediately was the comment section. that section which you hated so much because a couple of idiots were anti Semitic. While you were absorbed by this I was absorbed at what the vast majority of the comments were saying. I noted ordinary people talking the same language,. i noted exactly what I noticed in Britain and that was ordinary people were not thinking the same as what I was hearing on CNN and those other idiot channels. After 2 debates with Trump my daughter in law who writes for the British spectator asked me "do i think Trump will become president" and my immediate answer was absolutely, no doubt". she phoned me the same day that Trump won and asked how did I know. i told her because I am an ordinary person and we live in the real world. I was listening to the majority whereas her, a very savy political Journalist had been listening to media people, elitist who she though were intelligent. Even she was guilty, as you were, of living in a bubble. hope you have learnt your lesson ben, though i doubt it., because I see you still have followers and i have no doubt these followers also live in a little bubble who would not be able to name one friend who voted for Trump. I bet they know a lot more friends that voted for Hillary.

      Merl Ball
      No oh Ben's white night I am referring to the fact that that Ben is an asshole to people sometimes, particularly to Trump supporters. Ben has made some rather colorful remarks to Milo in the past, Milo of course took it in stride. However eventually Ben got harsher and harsher. When they were scheduling an interview, during a busy time with Milo, Ben said that he was afraid to talk to him. Milo responded that he was busy and would talk to him anytime he could set it up. I have yet to see that interview. But here are a few of Ben tweets.
      "To be fair, your knees are pretty calloused by now"
      "I KEEP KOSHER YOU BASTARD"
      "If I truly wanted to kill you,@Nero, you'd be dead already. I'd just remove all the mirrors in your home, and you'd die of boredom."
      "It's a good thing you can't kill an idea, because I'm pretty sure the syphilis is going to kill the rest of you."
      That last one is a rather low blow from a man who sits on his high horse. So next time Merl, instead of looking ignorant and making assumptions because you want to come to Ben's rescue, learn the history. Also perhaps Ben should stop hating on people who support Trump..
      So are you retarded Merl, or just a Ben fanboy?

    • @merlball8520

      TheWaterdog6 , So what you're telling me is that Shapiro sent mean Tweets, completely unprovoked, to Milo and Milo was just a sweet civil angel in response. And I'm supposed to believe that Milo, known for his biting commentary, was this angel and Shapiro an evil demon with no citations or context.
      Even if I was gullible enough to swallow such a line of bull shit, I would be compelled to compare Shapiro to your new god, Trump. Those comments are far more honest and civil than the comments Trump threw Cruz's way. Is Milo low energy or a loser or something? I'm sure he's a grown ass man and he could take it just fine.
      "White knight" - Oh the irony. Shapiro isn't the one with the princess complex. I don't have to defend him. But it does seem you were quite triggered by what you claim were comments made by Shapiro to Milo.
      You're standing in a steaming heap of hypocrisy and irony right up to your neck. Dig yourself out of that before attacking Shapiro... or anyone else for that matter. Seriously, try some introspection.

      Never said he was a sweet angel. But He certainly didn't go "There" in his tweets then lie to people that Ben was a puss and was afraid to debate him. Isnt Ben the guy who criticizes the media for pushing premature opinions as news?
      I never proclaimed Trump from the rooftops. And yes Milo is able to take care of himself.
      Triggered? Well yes, Idiots do trigger me. I think its cause I cant understand why they make such jump in conclusions and logic. Are you an SJW by chance? But I wasnt the one who was triggered by calling Ben "thin skinned." Which I think is well deserved.
      Hardly my friend, hardly. But for someone who "doesnt" have to defend Ben, you sure seem to be doing a lot of that. Im not defending Milo. I merely pointing out how Shapiro was an ass to someone who supports Trump. Sounds like taking your aggression out on the wrong person to me.
      But please continue. you make most of my case for me.

      I understand, and I appreciate. It's the announcement preparing us beforehand that I find amusing. I like the way he thinks about most things so I'm not trying to belittle anyone. I particularly like that he admitted he was wrong about multiple topics rather than summing them up into one.

You see, what I find amusing is that, as much as I agree with most of what he says, calling specific attention to his mistakenness appears to my own perception that he believes this is rare. The countenance in your pic, if that's you, just makes it better as you use words like "suspect."

      Pindo Scum Ben did not lie. The Michelle Fields incident was inflated by both sides in which trumps manager spewed false narratives with claims ranging from she wasn't touched at all to she was crowding trump and trying to forcefully stop him to talk. On the other side you have claims from Fields ranging from he bruised her arm and shoved her down to he forcefully pulled her away. Ben isn't hypocritical for saying he doesn't agree with the lies that the trump campaign spread or people on Michelle's side inflating it when she just wanted the incident to be forgotten. If you hate people being falsely accused of a crime because of political disagreement, why do you throw these untrue claims at Ben? You just defined hypocritical to a T.

    • @richardkrug2548
      @richardkrug2548 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** Regardless of whether she was lying or not, the police documented bruises, Ben classified it as battery, which it entirely was by legal definition and if you remember correctly he studied law (he would fucking know). All she wanted was an apology and it was inflated by the liberal media focusing in on the stupidest of details and changing the story to fit their narrative. It's pretty obvious that Ben doesn't like Trump, but he fully admitted he was wrong in the video above for his predictions and hopes that Trump proves him wrong again. He wants Trump to become more than just a deplorable who's slightly better than Hillary. By old guard you must mean morally righteous conservatives who value more than just winning- I never claimed otherwise if that's what you implying. If that is the case, then the ideological battle has already been lost.

      Dear Cucks - it is a two party system. If he didn't vote for the Republican he essentially is supporting the opponent (in this case that is Hillary).
      So principled in his 'conservative values' that he would rather see a person who has NO conservative values at all get elected than vote for a person who upholds most of the Republican party's values.
      Ben is eating his humble pie because he has to - it is his career. If he doesn't get behind Trumps historic and absolutely incredible republican victory - it will kill him (like Glen Beck).

    • @ProgenyofEurope
      @ProgenyofEurope 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Woah there spastic. Never said you are "with us or against us" - is it not a two party system? Are there not only TWO viable candidates? Oh, it was. Stop trying to twist the words - like a liberal.
      "100% trumper with no middle ground!! etc, etc," - Wow you sure sound like a liberal. Please tell me more about myself and use slander while you do it.
      "Not a conservative!!!" - Doesn't support the NRA and 2nd amendment? And all the other republican talking points? Like abortion, immigration, foreign policy, economy, etc.
      You can't stand that the republican party is the most popular it has been in three decades and it is not a carbon copy of your own ideas. Feel free to show your true colors and vote for the democrats. Because the real republican party is moving forward - even if we have to leave some obsolete relics behind. And ya, even your cuckservative compatriots like Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz - and most of the others have bent the knee to the new revitalized Republican party.
      You won't be missed.

      Trump may care more about religious rights more but only because he sees it a potential voters.

    • @ProgenyofEurope
      @ProgenyofEurope 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      So are you denying it is a two party system with only two viable candidates? You can't seem to answer a question.
      You don't have to support either one. Ben's job is his political opinion and promoting conservative values. If you are a self professed "conservative" (and its your job) and the guy who you wanted to vote for endorsed the Republican (conservative) nominee and then you don't vote for the conservative choice that your republican party voted for and you vote for another republican who has exactly a 0% chance of winning --- You are sabotaging the conservative candidate - and therefore helping the other candidate win by diminishing their opposition.
      Is that so hard to understand?
      NRA supports him - Trump has even said he supports the NRA - and the second amendment. So let me guess despite all FACTs you believe this because.. muh feelings? Liberal logic.
      Supports abortion? I guess that is why he is going to appoint a supreme court and help try to overturn Roe V Wade...? "Said before the election!! 20 years ago!!!" - try to listen to what he said during his campaign - not selective hearing from 20 years ago (ya he used to be a democrat - like Reagan).
      He did not hire illegals. That is a lie.
      "Hes a business man. All he gives a damn about is the bottom line"
      Holy shit you sound like the fucking 99%'ers. When the fuck did CONSERVATIVES demonize BUSINESSMEN? What the fuck? Your colors are showing mate.
      "but we could have all made a stand and told both parties to go to hell" - 'conservative values' is not supporting the conservative candidate. Got it.
