  • Huna blentyn ar fy mynwes
    Clyd a chynnes ydyw hon
    Breichiau mam sy'n dynn amdanat
Cariad mam sy dan fy mron
    Ni cha' dim amharu'th gyntun
Ni wna undyn â thi gam
    Huna'n dawel annwyl blentyn
Huna'n fwyn ar fron dy fam
Sleep my baby on my bosom
Warm and cosy will it prove
Round thee mother's arms are folding
In her heart a mother's love
There shall no-one come to harm thee
Naught shall ever break thy rest
Sleep, my darling babe, in quiet
    Sleep on mother's gentle breast
Empire of the Sun is a 1987 American epic coming-of-age war film directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Tom Stoppard, based on J. G. Ballard's semi-autobiographical 1984 novel of the same name. The film tells the story of Jamie "Jim" Graham (Christian Bale), a young boy who goes from living with his wealthy British family in Shanghai to becoming a prisoner of war in an internment camp operated by the Japanese during World War II.
"Suo Gân" performed by the Ambrosian Junior Choir (director: John McCarthy, soloist: James Rainbird).
