#rowalong #2’scompany much better this time round, I beat my target pace set on the first day. I think helped by a better stroke rate and having a few days to recover from the festive holiday 😂. Less mince pies holding me back🎉
Day 1 average was 109 metres…Day 2 was 110.5 metres. Gave it my all on both. Perhaps did slightly better as my brain knew what awaited. I’m slightly concerned for Day 3. I really do need to work on speed on the rail as my average rate was probably 43 spm. Stats are 5ft 9. 77kg and was on 120 drag factor.
Hi John, loved the first session, got to sprint No 6 and was doing well, 45spm, with 1:28 split over the 20 sec and then twang! My lower back went and had to stop.😖 You did mention at the start of the session to make sure one was fit enough and in my head I was, unfortunately my 67 year old body had other ideas. Never mind, pain killers and stretching for the next couple of days and I will engage once fit again. Really was enjoyed the session and look for ward to continuing with it going forward.
Well done John. Looks like a tough session there 💪🏼 I think I see that you engage more and more with your upper body and arms on the last 2-3 intervals🤔 Probably because your legs are starting to get a little tired, I'm right🤔 Normally, I usually have longer rests except when doing tabata or 30/30. Fun with variety, I'll run this sometime👍🏼😊🚀🚣♂️ How many more do you think you could manage if you continued before reaching the 110m limit?
Good spot. Legs were definitely running out of steam by the end. I could probably have hung on for another three before I would have totally tapped out. Could be an interesting experiment for the end of the series though!! Keep going until I fall below 114.

# 2's Company. Thanks John hard to believe 10s makes so much difference in terms of fatigue!
thanks!
Great burst. My stats are not as complimentary as the rowing beasts here.. but downright awesome, thx Mr J
I love this set ! Holding to my target thus far!
Well #2 is done. It caught up to me on the 2nd last round. Next!!!
In many ways, that's a good thing. It means you're working at your limits, not holding anything back.
hit my targets - maybe one m more!

@@rowalongyou had one under 114 (113) in this video I think.Your target was to do everyone over 110 wasn't it?
The target is always 114 or over. But if I fade and go under 110 I stop. If that makes sense?
Something felt that those two minutes of rest were a ruse and it wouldn't be this good for long.
Haha. Hopefully you'll surprise yourself and be capable of more than you expect.
