Great stuff .. it’s certainly good to have a few handy for various hedges .. I’ve got a 56 if I remember and that is brilliant for small shaped Laurel hedges .. I also have some traditional shears for around metal fencing to save the blades …👍.. other makes available also 😮
Hi Nathan I love these for shrubs and smaller jobs Also when ontop of a ladder doing the top of a hedge getting those bits right infront of you Really great bit of lightweight kit Nice vid mate
Nice one Nathan we are on the other side of product and the world 😀In Australia Ego is very popular me I am husqvanna user of many products but jut using battery no matter what brand is certainly the way to go....love your vids well done young fellow
The 100, 66 and 86 are a great set up mate and love using them over the petrol now, as a business and operator it makes sense right? You guys doing well🤞👍👍
I ended up taking the tip guard off mine as it did keep getting caught on stuff. Like the sealed gearbox and the fact it’s even quieter than the 86. Single speed is a bit of a strange one, like you say.
Good video buddy!!! Was tempted to get one theses as already have a few Hla135 and 86 I do use on box hedging etc, just wondered it really worth the step up from the 86 🤔
It is better than the 86 but not really worth upgrading to it if the 86 is still running. Blade speed is the same for example, so whilst is is a bit nicer to use it's not really worth having in addition to the 86. Maybe when the 86 goes and it's time to replace it then get the 100. That would be our advice.
It's pretty sturdy, plastic casing I'd say is similar to petrol machines and this has a metal gear case and grease port where the hla 66 and 86 I use have plastic ones that definitely don't last. Time will tell I guess 🤞 cheers,👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd Right on, I did see mentions of them using the same housing for their petrol machines, so maybe it's sturdy enough! I do like the Stihl battery machines, the AP machines perform pretty well.
Been waiting for this one, I'm about to pull the trigger on a hla 66, it'll be my first bit of Stihl battery equipment.. are the batteries and charges reliable?
Mate, I love the 66 for trimming and the batteries and charger have given me absolutely no problems. The 66 has limits but trimming it's a money maker👍
Mines been in the shop for repair for the last 3 weeks after a couple of months light work , my HLA 86 has been back in for repair 5 times in a year , can't make any money with them in the shop 😡😡😡

Great piece of kit. Likewise, I use my HLA 66 more, but bought the HSA100 to replace my HS81R (still got it for brutal hedge cutting)
The 66 does most for me too👌 definitely keep those rough job cutters 😅 cheers for watching

All makes have the options I'm sure, whatever you're into as long as it does the job👍👍 nice for the small fiddly jobs. Cheers
I run all cordless kit love it wouldn't change it don't miss petrol at all
You soon get out of using petrol once you've tried batteries 👌 cheers for watching 👍

Young fellow 🤣 I wish, you're looking fitter than me mate. Battery is so easier in th body 👌 take care over there and cheers for watching 👍
Hi Nathan Nice one I like using mine better than pulling pull cords and breathing 2 stroke fumes Thanks again
100% with you on that mate, I do when I have to but less and less now 👍👍 cheers
I had 3 different sizes for today's jobs. Like Darran said, I don't miss pulling the cord

@@LewisgardenservicesLtd were doing thanks. Bought the 135 long reach this year. It's going well so far. Commercial rated
Nice one Nath 👍🏼
Thanks 👍👍
Whilst some of the other petrol tools come out from time to time, I haven't used a petrol short hedge cutter in three years now. So much nicer to use.
Sounds perfect mate👍👍

It's a nice trimmer to use, maybe upgrade when needed. I haven't really pushed it yet as keeping for best🤣👍

mostly long reach for me mate . great when angled for the lower stuff 👍 nice machine the 100 though 🌲
Gotta save the back mate👍👍👍
I’ve just bought the 66 long handle electric trimmer today. Bogof! Got a free £220 quid battery. 👍
You'll love it I'm sure👌👌
What are your thoughts on the build quality? I'm not a huge fan of the flimsy plastic housing. Maybe it's stronger than it looks, though?

@MHumanoid better than their petrol gear 😅👍
Another great video mate. Is it much different to the hsa86? Like you,I tend to use the hla66 more often.
Never used the 86 so couldn't say but it's good for th right job, love using the 66 tho too👌 have a good weekend mate 🍻

Gearboxes sound awful on the hsa86 too
Hadn't noticed it sounded bad to be honest
Well I find the HSA 100 heavy and slower than the HLA66
Same here although still glad I've got it for those jobs It's needed for👍
Anyone know? Where l can get these Stihl battery stuff cheap on the tick.
I'm obviously,not charging my clients enough!!😅
Some places have than 3 months payment option, lots of cheaper work soon adds up 😅👍
