We love this so much! Every evaluation you made is very necessary on making the investment on a clipper. So happy you chose the right one for you! We think you guys make a great match😉Also the ending is absolutely hilarious!😂
Thank you so much, @GroomersPro! All four clippers are top-notch, and it was not easy to take just one! Love that your shop provides the ability for groomers to actually handle a variety of clippers from different manufacturers so that they can meet their perfect match also! 😍 Thanks for all that you do, and we're glad you liked the ending - I think we had a little too much fun at your location! 😂
Omg I love your video!! The bows on the clippers beyond cute!!! I just ordered my Opal now I am Looking up videos on blade care & how to properly store them.
Lol, thank u, April! 😆 Omg, you are going to love your Opal! 💕 And thank u for the great advice - I will make sure to film a video on blade maintenance and storage and will release asap (possibly by next Fri.) Thanks for watching! 🐾🙏

Hi Johnna, thank you so much! I am a few weeks into our "relationship", lol, and I am so happy with it! Thanks so much for sharing your personal experience! 💕🐾
Lol, yes, after many frogs, I found my prince! 💕 No issues, almost 1 year in. Sounds like you've walked a similar path - thanks for contributing as a kindred spirit! 🙏
Thank you, and omgosh, you are going to love your Opal! We are 6 months into our relationship and I'm still excited to use it every day. 😀 Thanks for your comment, and enjoy your new clippers!
Brushless motors are always the best. I use Wahl KM Cordless. Idk why Andis won't get on the brushless train and keeps doing rotary motors. Their clippers are always heavier, louder, and run hotter. The Pulse ZR II also has a long history of having issues with power switch failures. A year or so ago they were on steep clearance everywhere because they were getting review bombed regarding the power switch.
Hi April! Agreed, the Opal is my first brushless clipper and you can really tell the difference! I was looking at Wahl and bought a KM2 earlier this year, but it did not seat my Geib Buttercut #5s or #7s, so the KM cordless was off my list for that, but glad it's working well 4 u! It's def a solid choice and I was frankly sad it couldn't work 4 me. Thanks so much for the insightful info and comment! 🥰
Hi, I was not able to evaluate the Raptor since there were some technical issues which I heard that they fixed recently. On paper, the Raptor def looks impressive, and I hope to hear more good things about the new version! As for the Opal, I've been using it for a few weeks, and must say it is the best clipper I have ever used (and I have owned clippers from all the big manufacturers), and it fits all my A5 blades (many different types) and my Wahl guide combs with no problem. So, I am truly thrilled with it - but I look forward to evaluating the Raptor in the near future. Good luck in your clipper search and thanks for watching! 😊
Hi Bob, in my experience, it depends on what level of show dog. The ones you see at Westminster or Crufts are usually groomed by a breed specialist or sometimes by the dog's handler. However, I have seen some owners groom their own dogs that they show as a hobby in local and regional competitions. In fact, I have a groomer friend that does exactly that with her Standard Poodle. Hope that answers your question (to the best of my observations) and thanks 4 watching! 😊
I have my puppy in his first show and I selected a groomer listed on the AKC website. They also show dogs but they’re not an encyclopedia of every breed grooming standard. I need to know and be able to speak to the groomer as if I know. Videos on grooming the different breeds for shows would be appreciated.
@@boblathrop9983Hi Bob, what breed are you showing? I can perhaps help u with notes and interpretations that can help u communicate with your groomer. U can also email me: info@ginasgrooming.com, I'd be happy to help how I can!
I got an Opal and it only lasted about 6 months, it was shooting down in the middle of the groom, then I got a replacement though the warranty... And the exact same thing happened after about 6 months... It works great during that time but after that... Not so much. Y take care very good care of my blades, and I contacted Ryan's Pet Supplies and they said they've been having issues with those. Any one who can relate to this?
Hi, gosh, so sorry, I am 7 mo in and no problems! I'm interested to see if others have had the same experience as you. I will try to reach out to Heineger. Thanks for your comment!
Thanks, Tonya! 😍 I do so much grooming education, it only makes sense that I would lose my mind from time to time! Thanks so much for watching and letting me know you enjoyed the video! 🙏💕
