  • Use a four-strand round braid to make a shock-absorbing paracord dog leash. Turn either end into a convenient handle using snap hooks. Add an extra o-ring to turn the leash into a slip collar.

    Could you do a video on how to attach different rope types. I'm looking to make a tug toy for my dogs with bungee rope attached to paracord.

    You guys will get a few more customers if you do at least two different tutorials on adjustable dog collars. Peace donkeys , Rock paracord are the only adjustable tutorials I've found. Lots of people are constantly looking for those tutorials in the large group I'm in .
    Also an adjustable harness.
    My mother has ordered your exspensive hanks of 10 10 foot strands of various color cord . I like them but my lord they are pricy lol . Guess s machine can't do that task lol

      Their cord is way too expensive :( I order all my cord from Paracordgalaxy.com with the exception of glow in the dark cord… I get that from atwoodrope.com … they have excellent cord there as well but it can be expensive as well… but no one makes GITD card like theirs!

    Is there a way to make this adjustable to wear around your waist instead of having a handle? If so, how much more additional cord would you need? I have a larger dog and I would like to make one that has a something that would fit around my waist when I walk her.

    It would be good to a sliding sleeve that locks the loop in place when using the leash as a loop leash.

    Great design! Although, would there be a way to incorporate the cobra knot at the beginning too? It kind of bugs me that both ends are not the same. It doesn't feel neat enough for me. Just an opinion, I don't want to offend anyone.

  • @juliaw3089

    English is not my language so it is possible that there was information in the film, but do you know how many meters of the line corresponds to how many meters of the finished leash?

    • @ZippedUpKitz
      @ZippedUpKitz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      For the braid he did here, he used 25 feet (7.62 meters) of each cord
      for a total of 50 feet (15.24 meters) … this gave him a leash that is 6 feet (approximately 2 meters) in length… :)

    Tbh, I wish I knew how to more or less build the handle into the leash. As in like not a clip on one. One that was physically braided into one side

    How do you make this hands free?

    • @christy0202
      @christy0202 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you clip the handle clip to the second ring half way down the leash and put the large loop over one shoulder.. like a shoulder bag.. if that makes any sense

      Uh… I've been using Paracord collars on my dogs and cats for YEARS… never ever have they had "friction burns." Your comment is extremely asinine…
