- This is a series where I play as a lone soldier of the Vlandian army in Mount and Blade: Bannerlord
The goal in this playthrough is to climb from the bottom to the top in the Kingdom of Vlandia, starting as recruit and joining the army to become glorious knight of Vlandia!

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the historical Migration Period.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy/action role-playing game. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat alongside their troops. - เกม

I must say I really like narrative series, both in grand strategy games and in action rpgs. Immersion always was a key for my attention span. Good thing that TH-camrs are still interested in making these. I'll watch both Simo's and your series with great interest.

My favourite campaign I role played was as a dark skinned man from the vast desert kingdoms who came to the land in an attempt to be the finest swordsmith the world has ever known whilst dealing with being the outsider. The goal was to gift a master worthy weapon to each faction leader that matches their culture and only then would I settle down. However on my travels to buy ore to refine with a small party, we were assailed by bandit scum and all seemed lost until out of the forest came a western empire army led by the most beautiful warrior noble I had seen. Grateful for saving my life I altered my life goal to become worthy of her hand in marriage based on an initial failed attempt to woo as a mere unladen merchant. Thus I climbed the ranks of the western empires forces until I was commanding the front up infantry with my beloved and this other guy. The battle raged on and the encirclement began, a deliberately thin line to draw in the larger numbers and expose them to archer and heavy cavalry. But as I waited and waited for the horns to signal attack;they never came. They fled the field, my most loyal warriors killed to the last man. I was gravely wounded and captured, my battered body taken to a nearby castle. Then I got the news. My beloved had wed the man who she had betrayed me with. Confused and angry I was offered an act of mercy by the opposing leader who released me free of ransom as the kingdom I had pledged my life too had refused a minimal request and left me to die in a dungeon. I went to the man who released me and I said "I want to join your army"...

The Imperial approaching, weapon raised, seemed to falter for a moment as the metal was removed.
Darius's heart pounded in his chest, he had never seen a Calradian, let alone a Vlandian possess such a captivating visage.
Anyways, they end up raw dogging each other in the Asarai desert.
