Cats do not 'sleep' in the way we think they do. The truth is, cats are interdimensional beings and regularly visit places we cannot. Their eyes are also capable of detecting wavelengths of light that we can't pick up, enabling them to see energies, spirits, elementals and more. The same way dogs are our guardians in the physical world, cats are our protectors in the energy world. This is why cats were regarded as sacred in ancient Egypt.
So spirits reflect wavelengths in the UV spectrum? There is an ancient proverb. 'A dog will remember seven days of kindness for seven years. A cat will forget seven years of kindness in seven days.'
I knew there was a reason I feel drawn to them.

I've always had cats.
I now have a jet black cat named Wicca.
She is very quiet, calm and loveable.
I have several indoor and outdoor cats. Two of the outdoor cats are black. One is a long hair that looks like the TH-cam famous cat Owl Kitty. I just call her Mama kitty because she is. The other is a sleek, totally and completely coal black tomcat. I call him Stanley the Mini Panther. Both are ferals that just showed up. Both are affectionate and talkative.
I don't have cats in my house. But I have many cats around my house. I feed them and give them love and they reward me in so many ways.
Cat is my spirit animal. I have a cat and most of the time I know exactly what bothers him:
I'm listening to music on earphones and he wants to hear it too, so I stopped using plugs. He actually sits near the phone and he thumps his tail on the floor, and I always notice how it matches the speed and rhythm of the beat of music. He likes when I sing to music and I guess he wants to try too. He meows.
My cat and I have become ADDICTED to music.

Fun story for you: I adopted a cat at the end of August 2016. For months beforehand, I was trying to find the right cat for our household and having no luck, and wasn't even sure I wanted to have a cat again (hadn't had one for 15 years before then). I kept having dreams of a black cat with a white "star" on her chest. One day I was feeling sick from chronic disabilities and had cancelled plans, hoping to stay in bed for the day, when the universe pretty much screamed in my ear "YOU HAVE TO GO NOW! GO TO THE SHELTER! GO!!!!" I felt my brain fog lift lift so rapidly and energy to be able to do this flood into me so I could drive. Well, when you get something like that, how can one refuse? I got up, got dressed, and went to the shelter. I looked at several different cats, none of which were quite right for me. Low and behold, what was placed in my lap? A small black kitten with a white star on her chest. She was born on the Summer Solstice and had just come up for adoption. I really can't describe the chills as this flood of energy surrounded and filled us both. She grabbed my hand with her tiny paws and started purring. So I took her home. She just helped me through a seizure this evening, laying on my chest purring loudly in a healing frequency.

Kyden C - Yeah, but i don't think they are weird. They just looooove to play in the tub while I go and I play with them too. I even have a song I sing when their in there....ok, here it goes, I sing " Rub a dub dub, there's a bum in the tub ". and I rub their tummies. They love it. Sometimes they even do sommersaults. Awww. I had to up and move bc - situations. I'm sure my cat is taken care of. And rip to my other possessions. But I remember my cat crying if I wouldn't let her in the bathroom w/ me. She didnt need a reason. She just had to be w/ me or see what i was doing. Wever she thought she was doing...I'd be thinking damn. There goes that stereotype. Cats aren't always the most independent beings. Pets remind me of baby humans tho. :)
My black cat helped cross a spirit over that was trapped in my house. She now spends a lot of her time on the staircase that had a lot of negative energy, making it her space and creating calming vibes
Wade Haden I live in an old house with a lot of character. I am very sensitive to my surroundings and would often feel like I'm being watched. Our house is a strange design so at first I believed the negative energy was from bad Feng Shui.
The energy gradually became heavier and It was always on or around the stairs. Upstairs was my bedroom.
One night my partner and I had gone to bed and heard and felt loud thumps coming up the stairs and without the door opening, the presence of the entity was in our room. I was so petrified, I literally wanted to hide underneath my man. I was too afraid to open my eyes because I felt like this heavy energy was almost on top of me. Eventually we felt the room return to normal, and my partner told me that the ghost was on my side of the bed, right next to me. Before this happened, I was aware of its presence but for some reason as time went on I could feel it's dislike of me become stronger.
Because I have three dogs I never planned on having a cat but as luck would have it I adopted a little black kitten who has made the stairs her number one spot. From day one, she lived on the stairs making it her space. She had a bed on top of the staircase, her tall scratching post is beside the stairs and she loves hanging out in our old bedroom by herself for hours.
As time progressed I realised I wasn't thinking about the entity and was feeling more settled in my home. The house has become lighter and I truly believe the entity has moved on and I have always believed it was thanks to my kitty.
Cats are beautiful creatures that are both protective and healing.
My tortie cat, Kady came to sit on my upper chest on bed around 3 AM and she purred loudly. I followed her eyes up toward the ceiling. We saw a black shadow shaped like 4 ft rug floating few inches from ceiling. It went from wall to another wall - gone. Kady stopped purr and went to sleep by my side like normal routine. My firm belief that cats are guardians of angels or whatever. No wonder an ancient Egyptians worshipped the cats.

As a Native American I have to say if the sage doesn't work when you burn it to get rid of negativity it's because you need to tell the energy your creating what to do, when burning sage your building good energy but you have to direct it, otherwise it just stays as a cloud and spirits can just go around it. Project that energy you created throughout the room or where you need it.

I believe that cats do most of their work in the dream world, chasing away those shadowy entities that plague us in our nightmares. All my life (i'm in my fifties now), i have had a recurring dream of a basement room i lived in when i was six or seven years old. Nearly every single time i found myself in this place i was soon attacked by a shadow-being. Around the time i turned forty the nightmares abruptly ended. I still dream of this place frequently, but now the basement is inhabited by cats. Dozens of them, from kittens to adults. I have not had a nightmare since.
Cat's have amazing healing frequencies to their purring. Once, I bumped my head so hard I had to lay down. Immediately 5 of my cats surrounded me purring extremely loud until I felt better. It was amazing. More recently, I went through chemotherapy. On hard days they would surround me with their love. I'm so grateful to have them in my life. They definitely operate on a different frequency!

Ms. Oyeogbe Hi, I discovered the right cat or cats find you. It's a spiritual thing. When you get on the same spiritual plane with them, it is totally amazing and transforming. They mainly show up in your life to bring support, healing energy and love. Going through cancer and living alone, I discovered every day there was always a cat or more by my side to bring me comfortable and greet me each morning with love and cuddling. That would continue all day! Amazing!! Anyone who meets these cats tell me they feel something special from them all. I am so grateful to have them and that I didn't give them away!

This is interesting. My Cat is an indoor cat and he walks through the entire house each day along the outer walls....he even pushes doors open. I always feel like he is making sure everything is okay.

When I was younger my cat was sitting on my bed while I was doing home work. For no reason she started to act aggressively hissing and growling at my open bedroom door. She even came across my body as if she was protecting me. Now I understand why, I miss her so much. She would follow me around the family garden and wait at the gate when I come home, although jump on me as if she was a ninja and scare the crappie out of me. I love and miss you belladonna.

Have 2 cats. Woke up one night with an obvious ghost standing beside my bed making ugly faces at my cats who were scared of it. I woke up, looked at the ghost and told him, "I don't have time for you. I work tomorrow. Goodnight." He stopped making faces and his mouth dropped like he he was shocked I wasn't scared or that I saw him. He hasn't been back since.

I used to not be a cat lover. During my awakening that changed drastically lol im a witch, last year Willow my familiar came into my life, she found me! We've had such a tight bond ever since! She's always there when I'm doing rituals she lets me know when there's spirits around and sometimes she will play with them! Thsts how I know my space is in good peace and I owe most of it to her! Im such a cat lover now! I had no idea how magical these creatures really are and it shows!

When I have a cat with me when I sleep it protects me from negative shadow spirits that try to infiltrate my dreams and effect it with negative energy fields, thus bad dreams. I never ever had a bad dream with a cat near me, I truly love cats. I see them as my soul protectors.
We moved into an older home that had a "ghost" dog who would jump on the bed and curl up with my wife. She told me a couple of times about it. I didn't believe her until I was alone in the bed and felt it! A little freaky at first. The cats were startled when it showed up but now we don't feel it anymore. Maybe they chased it away, who knows?

I have taken in 2 strays and had them fixed. They came to me. I have now a grey, Grey's baby whose blk. Then a light grey with colors of Carmel. They take very good care of me. I can't go to bathroom with out them following and sitting till done. Lol

I have a blue eyed ragdoll and a gray cat with grayish eyes. My other very loving ragdoll passed monday. Im just devastated and lost. They follow me everywhere, but ild shew them away sometimea like when i was cooking. Now i know and this is just heart breaking.

I come in my bedroom the other day, sat on my bed. My cat Lizzie come sat by my feet. All of a sudden the fan turned on by itself. My cat looked at the fan n made a odd meow. I walked over to the fan, shut it off n said, Thank you but it's too cold for a fan. Now go away n leave me alone. N that was that never happened again.

I have a stray that comes to my house all the time. She or he is so sweet and rubs up against my leg. They sometimes sit on back patio too. I think it’s so weird. Then the today I look out and it was the stray I normally see and a second black cat just starring at me through the kitchen window meowing.. the complex of townhomes don’t allow pets so they are not neighbors pets.

Kratom Butterfly You should look into a Siberian Forest cat. I promise you won’t be sorry. We’ve had one for 13 years and she’s literally like our child. She’s not like a typical house cat. They’re known for having more dog like personalities and that’s very true. My husband loves our kitty more than me I think. Haha! That’s ok though, I think I love her more than I love him to. 😂 ♥️ 🐈

I have a black cat, a red cat, and three gray cats. We had a Blue Russian before we got the three gray cats, and I would say all of the individual characteristic for each "color" of cat actually describes each of them pretty accurately 💞
My black cat has cerebellum hyperplasia, and I feel like it actually strengthens each of the traits described for black cats. Each of the gray cats have also woken me up by climbing onto my chest to lay on me-I have pretty bad acid reflux that tends to flair up while I'm sleeping-and I always fall back asleep, petting them. I love all of my kitties 💞😘😊 And, of course, my puppy-dog and my bird, but I'll save talking about them for another time 💕

well a few weeks ago a stray red cat showed up and we give it scraps. Everyday she's there as soon as we open the door she's there. when I go for walks she follows sometimes even runs ahead but waits for me to catch up.. she even tags along when I take my dog out to do the bathroom. She rubs against us both and even falls on her back and starts rolling around she's pretty funny. I've never had a cat before but she seems pretty cool, she won't let us adopt her like take her in but she sleeps on our porch..😺🐾

My cats all 4 stare at nothing in the corner ceiling,they also hiss at something in the basement that I can't see,the one day my oldest cat squared off with something coming out of the cellar,her hair stood up along her hunched back her legs got really straight and stiff she widened her eyes started hissing and swatting at something,idk there wasn't nothing there,she's a calm cat usually it was very creepy,my house is weird ,strange things happen all the time,example yesterday I sat in my bedroom and me my son daughter and her friend all listened while the kitchen chairs slid around the floor we all heard it,but every time we looked nothing was happening, my house is old and people have died in it

I often forget that many YT commenters are mere youngsters unable to grasp the concept of sarcasm or when someone is joking around a bit. However, in my defense I'm almost 51 and rescued my current companion before my 50th birthday. At my age having the responsibility of a cat is far more preferable than being responsible for a newborn to 1yr old baby. I absolutely do love my cat as if he were the son I never had. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my seventeen-year-old jinx 2 months ago, and I really love my 11 year old buddy and my 4 month old OG. I understand your pain and if it's one that you really really really really loved and we're attached to you will never fully get over it oh, I mean you will but you'll think about him every day like I think about my Harvey who died back in 2010. He was the best cat ever and also the first cat that was just mine and no one else's and that made him all the more special! And I won't go into his wonderful personality because then this post would be way too long. Lots of love from Indiana!

I feed 13 cats everyday & all on my own no help from any1 & it's very expensive but the money keeps coming from somewhere it always amazes me that I can actually do this & I've gotten them all fixed except 3 males cause my car has broke down & I have no way to take them but hopefully thay will change soon I pray .Out of them all there's only 1 calico & she's beautiful small petitte.
I know that both cats and dogs both see things we cannot and I very time I've had some negative things going on either a cats or dogs adopted me .. These days when im ill I find all my kitties asleep in my room and during September theyr always following me around (September is a month of prayers for the dead in some religions) I notice also when I have nightmares ; my cats wake me up
My ragdoll baby passed monday. 4 yrs and im a stay at home mom, so its very hard. Im just devastated and lost.

I have a huge white cat that is so fluffy and has heterochromia. One blue eye and one gold eye with a pink nose and white as the driven snow. His name is Patches, he is an angel. His sister is tortoise shell with a black nose.

my cat called Misha has given me strange,but wonderful dreams when I sleep. I'd be lost without her now. But I Have noticed that she looks into dark corners of the front room.
My cat always sleeps in my room but once he stared at something above my head with wide eyes and started growling

I feed many feral cats in my complex and most are so loving and appreciative. I even have beds for those that stay close. I've always had a love for animals and do what I can. We even have raccoons, possums, foxes, deer and 1 groundhog in the small patch of woods out back behind the building. I love being able to see that everyday.

Cat's are such a blessing to have. They are so very wonderful in many many ways, such great company. I greatly miss the ones who have passed and always want to have one!

I went to a shelter with my kid to look around, this one cat stood out from all the rest and no matter where we went my kid and the cat always just wanted to be with each other.

+Deja Ballard Animals DO have souls. They were created by All That Is even as were humans. I have had fish, birds, cats, dogs and horses as companion animals and most of them had better spirits than I. I expect to enter the afterlife on their intercession and I take a great deal of comfort knowing that I will see them all again in eternity.
