Michele, these colors look so beautiful on you. The color glows from within. I ordered the three reds when they first came out, and then the three pinks, and then a few others. I wish I had them all. They are such gorgeous, unique colors, not something anyone can dupe elsewhere that's for sure. Lisa Eldridge is a color genius.
I got mine 🙋🏾♀️ I didn’t even wait for Lisa’s introductory video to end before ordering! I’ve followed LE for some time, and her work is exquisite.
Ordered these the literal second I got her announcement email as I wear almost exclusively red lipstick, and knew that because LE was doing them, they'd be exquisite and perfect. Happily they are exactly that!! I took them to Paris this past weekend and wore them all, Velvet Morning in the, er, mornings, Velvet Ribbon in the day, and Velvet Jazz out to dinner each night. They are so comfortable and beautiful, I'm just sorry that they're LE and some people had to miss out. Absolutely some of the best, most comfortable and even-wearing red lipsticks I've worn. Thanks for this great review!

The formula looks interesting and all of them look beautiful on you. Hope she comes out with neutrals which are my comfort zone. Red has never worked for me and at my age, ie: old enough to be your youngish mama, I don't need bright darkish lips to make me look any older.

I got mine last week! They are spectacular. I have not worn mine yet. They are to beautiful but I will. I used to wear red lips all the time. Time I do it again. These are spectacular

Very much a vintage, old Hollywood feel. Absolutely gorgeous and in a class of their own. Exactly what we would expect from Lisa Eldridge! Makes me wish I had good lips! I just have to add, I think this look on you is my favorite.

@@missreia Unfortunately with age my lips have pretty much disappeared into two thin lines. I also don't have a very pretty smile, so I try not to draw attention to that part of my face. I think these lipsticks are absolutely beautiful, but not on me. If I could wear red, it would sure be one of these tho! ❤
I love and have followed Lisa Eldridge for a very long time and I picked up the whole collection and are they ever the most gorgeous lipsticks and I am not a red lipstick girl but these 👍👍👍. The darkest of the 3 I apply with my finger as she suggested and it is beautiful and the velvet makeup bag 😍😍. Hugs ❤️❤️

I purchased only the jazz and velvet ribbon. Not much of an orange red person so I missed out on the velvet bag. I wore jazz yesterday and felt like nothing on my lips no drying etc. I put it on at 8:00 a.m. and went thru coffee lunch and by 4:00 it faded a tad but so happy with these. I adore Lisa and have been following her for years. I think this is a grand purchase and thank you for doing a video on it. Much appreciated.

Ooh I skipped Velvet Ribbon because my budget could only justify 2 and the others are more ‘my colours’ but you’re making me very jealous! Hopefully LE will expand and establish her line as a permanent brand and I can pick it up another time... I think I remember her saying the gold packaging was limited edition but hopefully she has plans to release more permanently
The tapping application works well with the pat McGrath lipsticks as well
Michele, I really enjoyed this review and it makes me regret not having purchased these before they sold out. I'm hoping that Lisa will follow through and release them again next year. I've never ever liked a red lip on me but this collection especially Velvet Jazz is so so beautiful and classy!
Pretty lipstick. I have very dry lips too, I have a tip for dry lips it's made by Pixi by Petra products and it's her lip nourishing Polish. I use before bed and am and it has a little scrubber on the end, you will love this. You can get it at target. She has great products her lower lash mascara is amazing!

I used to do chocolate centre pieces when i was a pastry chef and i used to spray chocolate onto pieces which gave that velvet textured effect. I can imagine the same thing happens here.

So pretty. I’m tempted by these even though I’m not really a red lipstick wearer. But they look so nice and I have loved LE for years. Ooh and your comparison to the PM mattetrance doest hurt... it is my favorite lipstick formula ever. And it looks beautiful as blush!
