Loved seeing all the shades on you! I own all of Lisa’s lipsticks but have very different colouring than you. My all-time favourites are Jazz, Ribbon, Cinnabar, and Enchantment! Yes, I love red 😂. I also love the Luxuriously Lucents. I use Spirited Away, Kitten Mischief, Go Lightly, and Je Ne Sais Quoi the most 💋
I can tell immediately which ones you love the most, without you mentioning it. Your face just comes together with the right shades. Shows that you could just wear the lipstick and look complete, even without the rest of your makeup.
9:55 you are so right and great way to demo and explain swatches. I have dark pigmentation on my lips, so shades can look very different. Often consultants have said 'well you need to remove the lipstick your wearing before I can apply this gucci on you' 💄😲
I use the Lancome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover to take these lipsticks off. Same with formulas like Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. It saves my lips. Also I keep my lipsticks in those lucite lipstick organizers and they separate each one enough that the magnets don't interact. I'm surprised by how pretty Enchantment is. I was intimidated by that color. Still kicking myself that I didn't get Sorcery. Affair is great on you. I was dying to see Blush! Lovely on you. This is my kind of video. You introduced me to 3 or 4 more shades that I will definitely buy. Lisa should send you PR for this. Thank you so much!💚

I thought that the deeper shades looked lovely on you, but understand if you’re uncomfortable with them. While I love the deeper shades, I tend to avoid light to medium neutrals, which tend to be lighter than my natural lip color. Having seen how pretty the velvets are, I’ve ordered two, though I generally avoid anything resembling matte because they’re drying on me. Thanks for such a comprehensive review.

I know you don't agree, but the shades Decade and Myth look amazing on you! Because I was always scared to add pink . I found a few 3 shades . 2 were Gucci the apricot & warm berry . But I was wondering your opinion . I know many would appreciate this video . I always get surprised how different lipsticks look on each and every person. I have Intrigue and it looks almost a bit too dark for me, and I always thought that you’re pale Jennifer. How pale am I? 😅😂 Thank you for such a thorough video!
I have the same colouring as you. I stopped buying Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks because they turn orange on me. I was wondering ( for reference) if they turn pink or orange on you please? I don’t want to buy these if they turn warm on me because they look so nice.
Hello Jennifer! Thanks for the review. While I love and admire the sophisticated colors from LE I don't find her velvet formula super comfort to wear it this is by far not the biggest issue. Every single lipstick from LE had to go - 2/3 broke and the rest got rancid. So I stick to Guerlain (the 3 special reds in particular in their matte formula are amazing), CdP, Sensai and Armani. DvN are lovely but fragrance is too strong (not beaten by Givenchy though 😨). Returning a fist TF lipstick, it smells like Vanilla in a bullet... Why? To break it down: the only product I am using from LE are her lip liners. Her Foundation was the worst looking ever on me.
Did you experience velvet lipstick bullet breakage? I’m in Belgium they ship from the Netherlands from what I remember so maybe the transportation problems will not occur, anyways I’ve heard quite a few YTers complain theirs broke 🤔
