I will argue. There are many variables here. 1. Those guys might have attracted zombies, which they did. He wouldn't know how far they were 2. At least one of them might been bitten, which in this case, there was a person bitten. YOU, as the audience, knows that the person beaten won't turn, but he doesn't. Why should he risk that just because people ask for help? 3. One of those people could of been one of the bullies. They could be two bullies. He can't see behind the wall. Why should he trust people he doesn't know? So not opening the door would be the safest and best option. Would you actually risk your own life over a situation that you know nothing about? It is better to be survive than to be a "hero" in a potentially helpless situation.

They stuck together, gathered information, changed locations, made plans...I was really impressed. Even adults wouldn't be so resourceful in a real life situation. People are really shitty and selfish when it comes to these situations, it brings out the ugliest in people. So I'm kinda disappointed they aren't enjoying the show like I thought they would. Like they get mad at the writing if someone is acting horrible, it's the literal point
