Hi Debbie...those are still good sales considering you were busy with other things. Quite a few were really good profit items, and it's always interesting to see how some smaller sales can really add up too.

Great video. I like the way you break it down. I haven't started selling on eBay. Just not sure if I'm prepared for the percentage. 28% seems kind of high.
Thank you so much for your kind comments! The fees really depend how heavily you promote your item. Most items have a 13.25% fee on the total sale. (Clothing 15%) I do promote my items, so I usually do pay at least 20% in fees. Fees have really increased, so I do really try to watch my numbers to make sure I am making a decent profit. So far, it’s still worth it for me….but not nearly as profitable as it was 15/20 years ago!
It is hard to tell exact sell through on Poshmark. I have a video where I demonstrate how I figure sold comps on Poshmark. I’ll see if I can go back and figure out which one it was! If I can I will send the link to you so you have a visual of it. I’ll try to explain typing it: What I do is just look up the item and instead of selecting “sold”, I will select “all items” then I sort by “just in”. It then shows both what has been listed AND what has sold. This gives me a visual representation of how many have been sold and how many listed. If there are a lot of solds within it, I know it will sell fast and I look at the prices. eBay is much easier since they provide the exact number of how many have been listed and how many have been sold. So, it’s just making an educated guess on where an item will sell better. But, I do list it both places because sometimes it surprises me!

(Or measurements provided in the description) 2. Are items things that have a good enough sell through rate that they will sell? 3. Are items prices where they will sell? (Look at both the price of current comparable listing as well as how much items have actually sold for.) I believe those 3 things along with sharing and sending out offers regularly on Poshmark are the key factors to have a successful closet.
