So the reason "The Day The Earth Blew Up" is getting a theatrical release is because WBD sold the film to GFM Animation, an independent studio based in the UK. The film was indeed greenlit under the previous leadership for a HBO Max release in 2021. However, shortly after the merger with Discovery, under Zaslav's direction, production of the film was suspended and the film was put up for sale in August 2022. For a while, it was though the film was dead as there were no updates on it. One big cartoon that comes to mind is when he was the show host of possibly the world’s most DANGEROUS game show with Porky as his unsuspecting victim (The one with the “You’ll be SORRY!” scream and Daffy shoots him) I kind of would think a story like Wile E. The wizard of Oz crossover Tom and Jerry and Harry Potter
When exactly is this coming out tho
if ur talking about metaverse or whatever that game's called iron giant actually got nerfed b4 it was too op also is no one going to talk about that baind-aid on the window?
How could you make a solo Looney Tunes movie? I can't imagine it having a plot that is worth leaving the house to the movie theater and spend $10-20. As far as I'm seeing, it's just a movie length episode.
so how long before they cancel this one?
I don't think they can afford to cancel this film as a tax writeoff cause WB has been hemorrhaging money to the point even Disney is pointing and laughing at them
