You are 100% correct. About 5 years ago I was able to purchase a Sebo with all of the tools for under $500 on Amazon. I've been using it on my three level house and it's one of the best purchases I have ever made for an appliance except for my second vacuum which is a Henry Allergy and I never put it away. Thank you for all of your good advice on your excellent TH-cam channel on the topic of vacuums. I forgot to mention that I use the Sebo tools on my Henry... Amazing!
We had a cleaning competition at the vacuum collector's convention, I brought a central vacuum unit and my Sebo ET2 power nozzle, I have several power nozzles but my intuition told me to bring the Sebo nozzle, I'm glad I did, it tied for first place in the cleaning contest, way to go Sebo!
That's awesome to hear Mike! Sorry I couldn't make it this year.
What did it tie with?
I think this is one of the best, if not the best power nozzles you can get, it's excellent. There's also a central vacuum adapter that you can get that adapts the neck to use a 32 MM hose connection and provides a cord to connect to any electric hose. This allows the nozzle to work not only with central vacuum hoses but also a lot of canister cleaners that have a standard plug on the hose.
Thank you for helping so many people i am a fellow vacuum collector and i agree with everything you say keep up the good look
Perhaps one day you could compare the ET-2 against the Wessel Werk EBK 360? I really like that LED light on the EBK 360! But I wonder if I'm giving up something vs the ET-2?
Thank you so much for this video! I feel this power nozzle doesn't get as much credit as other power nozzles, I would get one if I had a central vacuum.
I think that the soft (green) bristle brush roll is only available in the smaller sized ET-1 powerhead which is essential for preserving traditional wool and silk area rugs. Of course both are built with Sebo quality.
Great power head for build quality and while it does work .. it has basically no agitation. Depending on the situation this power head is great for cleaner homes. For me though I need the most agitation I can get because of the type of debris I have, sand and clay soil.
Most carpet can be cleaned thoroughly without agitation. However this nozzle does agitate very well. Not sure what you're talking about maybe change your brush roller?
@@PerformanceReviews on worn carpet agitation is a must and even then it's not going to do great. The Sebo power nozzles simply just don't spin fast enough. But you also have to realize that the Sebo power nozzle is for European style carpets. The wezzle week/Miele, rainbow, and most other power nozzles with the short stiff bristles are better agitators. That being said they may not be better cleaners due to other factors. The ET power heads do clean well but you are gonna struggle with grain size around that of a piece of sand.
Thank you for the review. I have a question about the wand - looking to replace a Nutone CT700 power head which has given up the ghost. Will the Sebo work with the same wand as the Nutone?
Great review! In the Amazon link, the description says a Plastiflex hose is included. Other reviews I've read say that Plastiflex is one of the best if not the best hose for central vacuum systems. But there are knockoffs. Am I correct in thinking a genuine Plastiflex would have either the Plastiflex name or logo somewhere on the hose? How would that be verified? Thanks!
Hard to say how you would verify it. The link down below is included because I believe it to be the best thing available online from the description and pictures.
However I always recommend just going to your local dealer whenever possible.
@@PerformanceReviews Does your hose have something that indicates it to be a Plastiflex hose? Name or logo?
