This relaxing evening nature sounds and sights were recorded with Panasonic 4K Handycam.
Rainbow lorikeets are excellent talkers, and they can learn to say many words and phrases. They are noisy birds and have a high-pitched tone with frequent squawks. Their sometimes shrill vocalizations can be abrasive and unpleasant to some people.

This happens in my yard too along with blue eyed honey eaters, pied butcherbirds, Australian magpies, and sometimes but rarely crows and ravens

I love all birds ! Best pets to have too. I have two lorikeets and it’s funny if you notice all their first steps as they first land they all hop lorikeets don’t walk they hop around it’s quite funny and very affectionate. Awesome :)

Our daily flock they hop around especially when I put out the food. My scaly Diva hops at them to attack if they get too close then does a victory hop when she wins so adorable and funny.🌈🐦🐦🐦💓😃😁

Pretty sure lorikeets can decide for themselves what to eat.

@@heiditylerwiebe9714 From what I understand the reason is is that their tongues are not designed for bread/seeds etc. They can eat it but it damages the tongue over time.
