The American market favors double cabs over bed size. I prefer single cab and long bed vs double cab and short bed. I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup with a 7.5 ft bed and a Tacoma with a 5ft bed. The 7.5ft bed on my old Toyota is so much better than the 5ft bed on the Tacoma.
I wish my bed would be only a foot longer and 2-3“ higher.
I won’t even try to open cover if there’s snow or ice. The cover where it slides on the rail underneath has plastic clips. They will pop off if you force cover open or closed. I learned this the hard way. They are easy to snap back on, however.
Thanks for your Tip. I will not ever try that again in that case. Question are your tail lights are foggy sometimes?
Dry silicone spray lubricant
Thanks for the tip.
You just have to be smarter than the "Average Bear" and do some tricks to get things to fit!
Well you can open the cover, like I did, but anyways I thought it's a thing which people who consider buying one should know. Don't get me wrong I love my car even if it is a baby pickup :-)
can you put some oil or graphite on the rails of the cover, to prevent the sticking?
Never tried but graphite is a good idea I will try that. Thanks
