What is the 'pandemic treaty' and how is this affected by amendments to the IHR?
Why is there no mention of the Treaty between the WHO and the WHA? Is this to be amended as well? The current stated plan of the WGIHR (Working Group producing proposals to the IHR) will violate Article 55 of the IHR (International Health Regulations).
Since it makes no sense that any rational member state of the WHA (World Health Assembly) would accept such violation, all these states should consider rejecting the 2022 adopted IHR Amendments, which will become effective on 2023 December 1, if not rejected before that date by way of a letter to the WHO.
