What's extremely funny about the look on the Marleyans' faces is that Reiner and Zeke TRIED to tell the military that the Scouts were a very different breed of human. That They fight multiple Titans nearly every day. Just because Marley has Zeke and Reiner that WILL NOT intimidate the Scouts. Even Galliard was like "Hey I'm a titan. You should be running in fear." Levi is just like "Titan??? I kill a dozen Titans before breakfast, you shit stain." I know they didn't really SAY that, but it's the general principal, right???? 🤣🤣
I mean they have been fighting titans since they were 15 😂
I think Galliards Jaw Titan should get more credit, one of the coolest looking titans in my opinion
Porco is no joke. He kinda perfected Jaw, and going by these last couple episodes, his only weakness is impulsiveness.
Porco - the world's sharpest nutcracker + Willy's sister - the world's toughtest nut = slurpee for Eren 😂
Porco sure had a rude awakening, first with Levi cutting him and then the Expedition Corps coming to kill him. Goes to show how wildly different the Paradis Island forces are from the rest of the world, which doesn't wanna get anywhere near titans.
Falco made such an emotional appeal to Reiner, hoping he will wake up and heal himself.
Pieck was right all along, if Porco had a bit of patience they could've won in a battle of attrition but by rushing, he left himself exposed, Eren got him and with his jaws he managed to crush the cocoon protecting the Willy's sister, ensuring Marley lost the Warhammer Titan in the process.
Armin made the craziest entrance out of them all, literally nuking the Marleyan fleet in the process, leaving a crater behind.
Poor Pieck didn't stand a chance after one of her crewmates was taken down by Sasha's expert marksmanship.
You've made a very good point in your post reaction discussion, Magy. Until now, we've seen the Paradis Island forces as victims who kept defending themselves, trying to survive against overwhelming odds. Now, they are the ones attacking and it's a huge change in perspective, even if Eren forced them to do so.
Eren looks very much dead inside at this point and he's manipulating anyone and everyone to get what he wants, as we've seen in these season 4 episodes. He makes it very hard to sympathize with him.

The world literally started a war against the Island. Even if this brutality here didn't happen, the world was going to go to the island and kill everyone anyway. I really don't get how everyone keeps missing this.
If people acknowledge it, they can't paint Eren as a villain.
Honestly at this point and going forward I didn't really see "sides" and only really cheered for and was for characters who seemed to have good intentions, or who I felt at least had something other than hate and destruction.. Along with other bad things in mind for others.. Reiner, Pieck, Jean, Connie. MaGath, the warrior kids, Armin, Levi etc. Were the ones who side I was on during this season.
What justice can there be in a world (Marley continent) that discriminates, segregates, and refuses to dialogue with all Eldians? What you do to others will eventually be done to you. If we understand karma and retribution, we must talk with others until we are satisfied before we kill each other. This show is a metaphor for the real world.
you got the wrong message, yes the world is unfair, full of hatred and wars, but you must not seek revenge and retribution but advocate for peace and understanding even if its way harder and dangerous than just wiping out your the ones that hurted you

I don't know how many times someone has corrected them when they say Le-vee and not Lee-Vy. 🤣🤣. I mean I could understand if they said it that way in the show (I can't even count how many people say Edden instead of Eren), but even the show pronounces it as Lee-Vy. But Magi and Laura still say Le-Vee. 🤣🤣
because they seem to be from some spanish speaking country, and as so, in that language, the rules are always the same, an e will allways sound like an e, not like in english were and e can sound like an a, i, e or do not sound at all depending on the word and not following structured rules. thats why i imagine its so hard for them to read Levi and not pronounce it like Levee

I'm watching a German reactor watch AoT and he also pronounces Levi as "Levy" because that's how that name is said in German. I assume it's likely the same for other European/Eastern European countries.

Also they THEMSELVES had also started to say his name properly, as I already said. So it's not impossible for them to say it, they're just choosing not to. And finally when someone is making an error, pointing it out DIES help. NOT helping makes that person look like an idiot, because other people WILL laugh at them when they do make the same mistake over and over again; as I said at the very beginning. Many comments have told them HOW to pronounce Levi. Since season 1. There's no way they haven't seen it. Stop coming at me like I'm the only one. Like I said I brush it off because I don't care.

What surprises me is that the Marleyans KNOW about the Attack Titan. They know it's powers and capabilities and yet they're still surprised by it's sheer ferocity. Granted, there are some things about the Titans' Powers that they still don't know overall, but the fact that Eren leapt out and changed again should NOT have been a surprise. UNLESS Porco is just STUPID; and that's a possibility, given that he thought just being a Titan would make the Scouts terrified of him and want to run away.
well previous to this Eren was only able to transform twice a day, the one known for endurance is Cart not Attack. It caught the viewers by surprise too cuz its the first time he transformed three times in battle. dont pretend others, you were probably surprised too
@@PhillinRoyal No, I wasn't actually. The fact they they SHOWED Eren learning and adapting and training with his titan powers was just the warm up. We've already seen both Annie and Reiner change more than once in rapid succession. So three times for a titan who is labelled The Attack Titan shouldn't really surprise anyone. Most importantly as I pointed out. These are Marleyans, other than the Attack Titan himself, they should know it's limitations. It hasn't been gone so long that it's abilities are forgotten. It's been barely 25 years since Grisha left for Paradis. Even if the attack titan is no longer IN Marley's possession, it's dumb to assume that the remaining Warrior candidates aren't at least told what it can do. That being said, Porco is kind of a dumbass. He more than likely didn't pay attention even if he was told. Again, it's the Attack Titan. Key word, "attack". Of course it's relentless.
So here's a question. If Annie had not encased herself in hardening and had come back with Zeke and Pieck, would SHE also be a "War Chief"?? Zeke i can understand as he's the oldest and has been put in command. Reiner was likely given the promotion after returning from Paradis. Bert was obviously taken by Armin and Annie trapped herself. BUT is Annie had been able to escape and return with the others.....
well we dont know, after returning Reiner also fighted in the war against the middle-east allys force, they could have been promoted there. It would be normal for Annie to be promoted tho since she was the one that worked the hardest back in Paradise
At this point - as of this episode specifically - I believe Armin has THE highest kill count of the entire Squad combined. That HAD to have been at the very least a couple hundred enemy soldiers he obliterated. There were just about a dozen battleships and estimating about 80-120 per ship. Actually that's a fair bit more than a couple hundred, isn't it?? lol Not to mention the potential casualties from whomever may have been in the buildings closest to the docks. I think Armin set a record even MORE impressive than Bertoldt when he kicked in the Gate at the Wall. Such complete destructive power in someone so humble and soft-spoken. a person who values ALL life as precious with the power of a Nuke. In some ways that's kind of similar to Bruce Banner, I suppose.

I find it interesting how in the Anime there wasn’t really internal dialogue with Armin after he committed a literal massacre. After that scene it felt kinda brushed off…

The event was about uniting the world against Paradis and attacking them.
They got what they deserved.

The problem with humanity is this: still cheering for paradise, even though they just did everything that happened to them in season 1. People hated Reiner but forgive Eren, even though he is a thousand times worse. Paradise had to endure the Titans, but for a much shorter time and protected by walls, except for the last few years. Eldiana dominated other humans for centuries.
The thing is that there is no right side that should win and kill the other side, we should be more understanding and compassionate, that is how this drama could have been avoided. Everyone still cheering for Eren is exactly like every Marleyan, cheering for genocide because bad stuff happened in the past. That is no excuse.
Not saying paradise should give up, but there would be many much more humane ways than to do what Eren is doing here. He is the absolute anti hero, trying to do right but being too dumb to wield the power he has, inflicting countless times more pain on others than what he suffered through. And people still praise him. From this point on you can measure how naive and heartless you are the longer you overlook his acts. If you side with him till the end, you are the perfect Nazi supporter, because Hitler is a saint compared to Eren (regardless of what their motivations are)

I don’t understand what’s funny, cheerful, etc. here? In this series, as in many others, the authors wanted to show the horror of war, the injustice of fate, and you first of all react to the strength and brutality of the heroes!!!

It's not pronounced as livay anyway. The Japanese VAs pronounce it as Lee-Vai, with an "eye" sound. In German it's pronounced Levy.
