Unfortunately for everyone who reacted, this will be the only time Upper Rank One appears. He will not be shown properly until way into the second to last story arc. Glad everyone got a chance to see him cemented as the favorite.
But they will know that he is not related to Tanjiro in any way, same with the goat himself, which will finally break the trend of reactors thinking that.

The reaction to Kokushibo's face is always priceless. I saw spoilers so I already knew what he looked like but I can't lie when I say that his face freaked me out a little when it was revealed. The way they're hyping it up only to show it with barely any sound at all gives it an eerie vibe.
I love the details about Akaza suddenly crushed Douma's jaw for saying that he displays a "WOMAN" in his place. While it's true that Akaza is angry at Douma dor casually touching him, I bet Akaza was more angry at the fact that Douma was talking about 'offering' and 'eating' a woman in front of him. If you guys are already read the Manga, you guys should know what I am talking about.

Unfortunately that will not happen in this arc as Kokushibo will not make another appearance until much later - second to last story arc.

It makes sense to think Kokushibo is Tanjiro's relative, but to think it's his dad is a big stretch. That thing is more than 113 years old.
There have been plenty of mentions that the upper ranks remained unchanged for over a century. I don't understand how could people think that's his dad or relative? As a non-manga reader, I would only assume that Upper one is the original sun breather guy, but his voice sounds different. Was upper moon one perhaps a rival to the sun breather back then? Or was he forced to serve Muzan? (don't spoil it, those are just my wild guesses because I don't know his origin)
personally as a manga reader I just love watching them get a first glimpse at Kokushibo and then watch the confusion, disbelief and mild betrayal on their faces :P

Let me remind you that only Nichirin blades are capable of decapitating a demon and killing it, demons can't kill other demons, with the exception of Muzan himself, he can kill literally any demon that is affected by his curse (Tamayu and Nezuko are the only demons not affected by Muzan's curse, if I remember correctly)

They will 4v1 Kokushibo, use poison to kill Doma, and Akaza will by by himself... (and Gyokko + Hantengu will die on this arc tho)

They are doing right with the power scaling aspect of Muzan. He was capable of making Akaza bleed by just yelling at him in a kid's form, he decapitated one of the upper moon in less than a second and he literally thinks every Upper Moon is expendable. Not this season, but we will eventually see Muzan fight, and it's just absurd to the point where we can literally see why all Upper Moons are expendable to him.
