      @@anthony_travels ya that could be true bcoz most PPL are brainwashed with taj mahal and Mumbai. I am not saying the south is far better than the north. North development is registered to small areas in big states. Whereas south overall it's developed. But it's changing. With the new GST allocation may be in 30 years north could exceed in development.
      From now on you should recommend to any of your friends who are visiting India to start from the south and then travel north.

If it were anywhere other than Kerala, people might have judged what you wear. Similarly, Wayanad makes a lot of money from tourists in Karnataka, especially in Bangalore and Mysore. • @Zak-qh5tb
      @Zak-qh5tb 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The difference is Kerala HDI is mainly due to contributions of Malayali's foreign income which trickles down into Kerala's local economy. While the advanced countries you mentioned are mostly self-sustainable with strong local economies and their people live and work in their own country and don't work in other areas. If Malayali's did not have opportunity and ability to adapt and work in foreign places our state would have been terrible.

      @@Zak-qh5tbforeign remittance is only about 14% of keralas economy, what the hell are u talking about? And as a third world country foreign remittance is so important for a country like India, and there is nothing wrong in finding opportunities abroad that can benefit people back home and the state, and no keralas hdi is not high because of our NRIs, to know about it just go through what the Travancore dynasty has done for it and also the missionary system which cintributed in a huge manner for a state like kerala ti achieve this,... Kerala has the least multidimensional poverty in India with just 0.006%, no other state is even close, so no matter how the money comes, as long as people are doing well we will take it

    • @Zak-qh5tb
      @Zak-qh5tb 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sharath902 Of course Travancore Dynasty and missionaries made massive contributions but in addition foreign money which made its way through our entire economic system that gave the state the extra boost it needed when compared to other states. I don't have any stats to show you the massive amounts of foreign money which indirectly contributes to our economy Eg:- Foreign malayalis building houses = money for local material, labour etc. just one of the many ways. Regarding the statement, no matter how the money comes, it matters greatly how we generate and spend revenue to create a long-term self-sustaining economy. Unfortunately, we are on our way to become a giant retirement home with skilled local talent leaving. Maybe we don't feel the effect of our local people leaving because skilled people from other regions of India are coming to Kerala and there nothing wrong with that. But fundamentally, our state is heading towards being a giant retirement home with huge debt, spending more than half its revenue on salaries and pensions, making huge financial losses in public sector, selling alcohol, lottery tickets and if these fit the definition of doing well then yes I agree with you everything is well!!! I hope malayalis realize the true potential of our state and raise our standards accordingly because the politicians and government administration will give us exactly what we demand and if we are happy with the status quo then we are destined to be third world for the foreseeable future.
